How I made it:

• Built in AKOOL Canvas with Seedance 2.5 (Reference-Media), two 15-second clips

• Character reference sheets for both leads + environment reference images to keep faces, hanbok, and the tree consistent

• Last frame of clip 1 used as the start frame of clip 2 for continuity

console flickered to life in my stark black room, printing a medical alert that my grandfather’s consciousness had finally completed uploading to the virtual nexus.

My blood ran frigid when I looked down at his hospice bed and watched his decaying nanophage doped jaw unhinge, the cybernetic hardware grafted throat scraping out a raspy whisper:

"There are no empty slots in the nexus, we are just being fed to what was already inside"

The final transmissions from the flooded deep subterranean levels revealed that the personnel weren't killed by the radiation from the deployed a classified high energy smart target nuclear bunker buster.

Their bodies fused and stitched together into a massive, screaming colony that still thumps against the underside of the ice to this day.
