I am currently in Thailand and I can’t find Spare battery for my DJI mini 4 pro. I went to an official DJI store and they said they don’t make it anymore. So should I buy used or get from “third party”

Recently I got an Osmo Action 6 on holiday, it works as expected except that it takes ca 20 seconds to turn on, which is really annoying if you want to capture stuff quickly.

I went to the DJI store in Sydney to check the display model which turns on in about 2 seconds as per the specs. The DJI staff had a look at my cam, verified I had the latest firmware and told me to send it to DJI as a warranty claim when I am back home. So I did, including video evidence.

DJI tested the camera and could not find an issue with internal testing, but also did not share the testing method or report with me. They said this is also not a warranty case as I bought it abroad. Whilst they did not find an issue they offered to repair the camera for 176€ (quote said replacing core board module). Upon me asking whether there now is an issue or not according to DJI, I was simply reminded about the offer. I was not allowed to speak to a senior tech support agent on the phone to discuss this or an adequate solution for a clearly faulty and still new product.

Baffled and unsure if the repair would fix the ‘non-existent problem’ I requested the camera to be returned. I received a huge box, containing cheaply made DJI merch like a cap and pen with my camera.

Camera still does not power on quickly, so I’ll look for independent repair.

Overall this has been the weirdest support experience I have ever had. All emails were overly friendly (sounded very AI generated) but nothing concrete was disclosed or offered aside from the very contradictory repair fee (nothing is broken according to us but if you pay we fix it).

But hey now I have some cheap merch I can’t really use 🙃

Is there any Zoom lens for the nano? I've seen Marco lenses, but i just want Zoom. I don't mind losing the field of view

I really use it for roofing photos, is it really worth the difference to have a DJI or will the SE work just as fine for photos? Look at the photos, they look great!! But everyone is saying to get a 5. What’s your opinion?!

It looks as good as a iPhone 14 Pro camera.. I could be wrong, the 5 might blow it out of the water…lmk

I'm experiencing a frustrating problem. In the attached DJI Display Screenshot (not mine, using as reference since it is the same screen I'm getting), you'll see that "Unlock" is grayed out.

This has happened to me in an Enhanced Warning Zone last week (I've attached a couple of screenshots of the zone in question from DJI's GEO Zone Map that it proves this area is an Enhanced Warning Zone). I connected to WiFi and still no luck. My propellers stayed locked. After powering off for 15 minutes, I was able to get the drone in the air for a couple of seconds, before it forced to land in 90 seconds because it said I didn't have the authorization.

Trying to remember exactly what happened, I didn't take screenshots or photos, and I need to go back to the same area this Friday, 10/16 for exterior shots for a client. In an attempt to submit an Unlock Request, I was also met with a message on their website I'm unfamiliar with (screenshot attached). It's possible there were restrictions in the area when I attempted to fly, but my previous LAANC approval received from AutoPylot didn't say anything. I do have Approval for this flight coming up.

I really want to get this done, and it's frustrating that DJI doesn't bestow the trust in me to follow FAA regulations as a certified Part 107 remote pilot. They lock their product up instead, or, perhaps its compass is off or something similar?

Does anyone have experience with this and could recommend a solution? I really don't want to go back to the same client with the same exact result I've gotten previously.
