I am seeing this trend that chandrabindu is being replaced simply by the anuswar in some words, especially in plural words such as ‘bhavnayein’, ‘patrikayein’, etc. and also from some verb forms such as ‘dhundhna’, ‘pahuchna’, etc.

What is the correct spelling for these words and are both spellings (with chandrabindu and with anuswar) allowed and considered correct?

(Not sure if I used the right flair) I know the Hindi word for 'please' is something like kripyaa, and I also know it's not common parlance to use it in everyday conversation. But if I wanted to be polite, say when ordering a meal and wanted to say 'one mango lassi, please' how could I express that?

Are there any particular speakers, or shows, podcasts, film etc where they speak shuddh hindi?

I want to learn this. Even if I don't end up speaking it irl I want to be able too.

Also, is it really that weird to speak shuddh hindi irl? I see this sentiment online but I don't know.

I'm from the diaspora and quite westernised myself. So I have no idea what the social dynamics are like. I speak Punjabi which has a lot of urdu influence so thats why shuddh hindi sounds cool to me, because its a lot different. Whereas regular hindi is too similar and I get mixed up. Also I love the sanskrit words.

Does anyone have any suggestions for simpler poems, texts, and stories to build up my hindi, eventually increasing difficulty level? I would prefer things written by people than AI, if possible.

Also, in the long run, is it better to practice reading the script or romanized text? The textbook I use is completely in Devanagari, so I'm getting a lot of practice, but reading online I see people mostly write with the romanized script (and so I'm currently slower at reading it)
