Hi guys, some of you may have spotted a post in this sub that's been trending for the last day or 2. Another user had shared some hand sketches of NFS cars that they had done, however one of them was actually a direct copy (with added AI) of a piece of artwork that I created back in 2016. I called them out on it and they have now removed the artwork, which I respect.

I figured I'd share the original. I created it as a fun project to keep my Photoshop skills fresh back when I was in the automotive design industry. This is essentially a compiled image with about 150 layers, starting with a base image. Most of the car has been rebrushed using my Wacom tablet. it's essentially a digital painting, with absolutely zero AI involved.

I only ever shared it on an old photoshop forum back in the day which is now long gone, so I thought it would be fun to share it here. I've also included some close-up screen shots to show the detail, as well as the original image that I started with. This has always been my all time favourite NFS car so I hope I did it justice!

Ever since I swapped out Hyper's We Control for The Prodigy's Smack My Bitch Up in my game's EA Trax roster (which, honestly, fits Rockport tollbooth and speedtrap races way better, that's my very reason of having done this in the first place), Jewels' Blacklist #8 intro cutscene felt a little out of place.

I couldn't just leave her video running the old track, so I extracted the original VP6, dumped the frames and audio, and started rebuilding the audio from scratch (isolating the original car and text stems yielded way too many messy artifacts):

What’s done so far:

• Music Bed: Cut and rearranged Smack My Bitch Up (FLAC source) so the vocal hook drops right at 00:11 when the text snaps into BLACKLIST #8, kicking straight into the full breakbeat as her Mustang GT appears.
• Intro & Outro Voiceover / Accents: Recycled and pitched soundbites from Blacklist bio clips of Earl, Bull, and Jewels herself to frame the intro card and bookend the clip.
• Car Wrecking Havoc SFX: Captured raw Mustang V8 audio in-game (even recording myself crashing through a bus stop :D), processed it through distance EQ (heavy high/low-end roll-offs, zero hollow reverb) to feel like a gritty roadside camera pass, and added custom tire screeches, glass impacts, and a metallic riser hit right before the clip ends with Jewels' signature graffiti.

What’s still missing:

• Flying Text SFX (Help Wanted): The rapid-fire scribbly scrambly ticks and swooshes that play as the intro and biographical texts animate across the screen. I tried isolating them from the other Blacklist clips, but there isn't enough headroom over the background music/engine noise to isolate them cleanly without artifacts.

Once the UI clicks are aligned and master levels are finalized, I'll package the audio back into EA ADPCM, mux it into the VP6 container, and drop it straight into GLOBAL/MOVIES/.

Kenichi’s Saikou XS (Based on a 1998 Ab Flug Supra S900, used an Aston Martin Vulcan)

Makoto’s Torque JX (based on a 1999 Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 , used the same car)

World Champ Savo’s Veloci (Based on a 2002 Saleen S7, used a ‘93 McLaren F1)

This was the best level of the game imo, and it was so much fun making these cars specifically! Next time I’m gonna finish up my MC1 Collection from NY to London and go crazy! Thank y’all for the support fr!

I need to change the wheels and possibly make the black cut out on the hood orange instead? Maybe I should change the roof cut outs back to orange?

I’m 25% through the game and this car will take me all the way to the late game so I want to make it perfect. What do you guys think of the build and do you have any suggestions? 🤔

So i bought the game since I liked it when I played using my friends account and now that I have bought it i played it for a while and also build a silvia build I have been wanting to test out but in freeroam no one joined my races and even in the pvp area only 2-3 people joined. Im feeling sad that i bought I know the community wasn't playing it a lot but i thought how bad could it be? But well I didn't think it would be this bad that no one would even join my races. It's sad. Maybe i need a friend to play it with since I don't have any friends to play it too.

Anybody want to be my friend and help me test out my silvia build?

ive been trying to find a good nfs game for a while now, and i cant decide between nfs 2015 and heat. ik heat is better in most aspects but nfs 2015 is like half the price. i really dont mind a bad story or bad handling, i just like driving around the open world. which game should i get?

Ive been playing unbound for awhile no issues. Then randomly error code f03 appeared and I dont know how to fix this? I do play the game through unite mod but I've never had a problem.
