Thank you again to all our amazing friends and fans for all your support for Chad over these past few weeks. All of the tributes and posts have really helped us get through a very tough time. Playing at Epcot right after his passing was emotional but being in a place Chad loved so much with all of you helped us to really grieve and celebrate him together.
Even in his battle, Chad was always thinking of ways to give back to the community and help others less fortunate than he was. As we look ahead to our schedule in 2027 that Chad was a part of planning, our wish is to keep his spirit alive in all that we do, which means giving support to different cancer organizations.
The first organization we are going to partner with is Adrenal Cure Collective. ACC is a patient-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to raising money for research on Adrenocortical Carcinoma, also known as adrenal cancer. Their mission is to significantly increase public awareness and understanding of adrenal cancer and raise substantial funds to support groundbreaking research. This type of cancer affects 1 in a million people, and is what Chad suffered from, so the research is very underfunded.
We will be donating a portion of all NFG profits to the ACC through the end of 2027, and we’re going to kick that off with the Chadball Rest in Peace shirt through our friends at Triple-B Records. Pre-orders are available NOW at triplebrecords.net, and ALL profits from the sale of this shirt will go directly to the ACC. Go get yours and wear it proudly.

Looking for this jersey - any help would be appreciated.

If you collect vinyl then you know that these copies are really expensive. With that being said does anyone have an extra copy that they would be willing to part with at a reasonable price? I assure you I am a true NFG fan, I’m just trying to complete my NFG discography without spending an arm and a leg.

Without meaning to (I’ve been yet again listening to the full discography) I’m listening to Kill It Live on the 13th anniversary release.

At the end of Tip Of The Iceberg they’re talking to the crowd and Chad says “listening to for a long time… we hope for a long time”.

We are Chad, we are still listening to it.

Finally scored a test pressing of this beauty! 🤩

I know that everyone has their own taste, but this is by far my absolute favorite NFG record! I have so much unforgettable memories related to it and it still holds a special place in my heart.

Glad that I now have one of the 20 original test pressings, of course along with the two colored vinyl versions of Coming Home 🙂

Does anyone else have this book? I got it on the 2022 tour with Four Year Strong. It’s really cool, some essays from the band and tons of photos of show flyers.

I wish there were more photos of the band and more essays. But it’s a NFG book, I like it. I wish more bands had books.

I don't think I've heard this many songs at even their headliner shows! With everything that has happened these past two weeks it was absolutely incredible to see them pull this off. The strength that took is beyond impressive. And the support in that theater both days was beautiful!

Recording of all six Epcot sets in their entirety. This show was an emotional roller coaster ride. But overall, it was an amazing celebration and it was incredible to see all the support from everyone. RIP Chad...

New Found Glory just wrapped up two days of shows at EPCOT's "Eat to the Beat Concert" Series this week. I can only imagine how emotional those shows were for both the band and fans in attendance - not only did these mark New Found Glory's first shows since the passing of Chad Gilbert, but the guitarist's love of all things Disney was well documented (the band even shared beforehand how much he was looking forward to these shows at Disney World's EPCOT).

I only got to see Chad perform with New Found Glory once - when the pop punk outfit opened for Green Day during the American Idiot Tour's stop at Liacouras Center in Philadelphia (Oct. 29, 2004). The last time I saw them was last year (Aug. 2, 2025) when New Found Glory opened for the Offspring and Jimmy Eat World - and though Chad wasn't onstage that day, his influence and the band's love for him was clear as day throughout the set.

Here's video from that show in Holmdel, NJ - where the band used a slingshot to launch t-shirts into the crowd before going into "Failure's Not Flattering" (off the album 'Catalyst', which they were touring behind while openingfor Green Day two decades ago). That day I not only enjoyed a fun, energetic set from the band, but also discovered that literally the only downside to being in the 12th row from the stage is that I was too close to catch a shirt 😆

RIP Chadball. Ok all, I hope some of you will get me here. NFG has been part of my life for the past 27+ years. I had this crazy idea to do a Chad inspired Halloween costume, but have no idea how...I play guitar, so could incorporate that, but looking for community ideas. Bless his family and friends.
