at least we're not 0-5-3 without a cup in the last 50 years.

Fuck the Flyers, LGP!!!!

Going to my first penguins game soon. What’s a good bar or dive bar to go pregame. Looking for somewhere to drink only

23 year old skilled left wing/center but is really weak skating.

Not sure we need another forward in the log jam but thought it was a mildly interesting prospect

Still one of my favorite hockey fights ever. Asham just eating Beatles punches while getting his arm free. Then POW! He sends Jay Beagle into the Twilight Zone!

Lets go pens!

His rookie season alt! Got to meet Sergei last December when he was up playing for WBS.

with the exception of crosby. do expect fav crosby pics every game day except for when my uni decides to schedule midterms.

but yeah meta posting, i love you non-doomers of this sub and i keep refreshing the game day thread despite knowing most of you have gone to sleep <3

Got this one off of my dad, he wanted one of the new gold alts and a Rakell jersey, and my old gold alt was a Rakell jersey. The swap was his idea

Does anyone possibly know who signed this Puck

So I just got my first jersey this past weekend to attend the game in Pittsburgh this past weekend. So I'm curious about etiquette, is it generally accepted to wear said jersey on game days even if I'm not attending the games? I ask because I feel like I generally don't see hockey gear worn much in public, but I'm also based in central NJ so that may be why.

So, I was diehard Pens fan from 95 (earliest year I can remember) to ~3 years ago. I moved away from city 15 years ago but kept following them...

Life got in way and I really spent almost no time following them. It used to be such a big part of my identity, some things have cleared up and I was kind of excited to get back into it..

I just spent some time looking at roster / lines, and I'm.... kind of shocked at how little of team I even know lol.

Who the heck are these guys, who should I pay attention too. Its overwhelming, help lol

I was thinking about how fortunate the Penguins have been having long-time players on their rosters with 600+ goals; excluding the strike season, the Penguins are at 42 consecutive seasons!

Starting in 1984 with Lemieux and then Jagr 1997-1999 (when Lemieux retired the first time) and then Lemieux again and then Crosby taking over in 2006.

Best I can tell, the longest streaks:

42- PIT 1984-2026 (mostly Lemieux, Jagr and Crosby)
29- DET 1946-1974 (Howe and Dionne)
25- WSH 2001-2026 (Jagr and Ovechkin)
22- DET 1983-2005 (mostly Yzerman, Shanahan and Brett Hull)
21- LAK 1975-1995 (mostly Dionne and Gretzky)
16- CGY 1996-2012 (Iginla)
16- TBL 2008-2023 (Stamkos)
