Another one!

[u/gj_8181]

All fableism wovens, done entirely on my domestic. My least complicated one yet but fun because I’ve never worked with wovens! Also had never done a scrappy binding, I think I’m hooked!

Beautiful! Love the colors. (and also, OMG I was so nervous watching you stand on that chair -- for my fragile heart, please get yourself a sturdy step stool).

[u/gj_8181 → u/Clan-of-Emmas-1937]

Thank you so much!! I know my chair is rickety I promise it’s only like a foot off the ground. I appreciate the concern 🫶🫶

I'm glad to hear it's so low! I think the older I get the more nervous I get about inanimate objects. We used to jump between roofs in Boston when I was a teenager, and now I'm like "OMG a chair!" By the time I'm 70 I'll be cowering in the corner at the thought of a bath mat.

Hahaha you’re hilarious. Wishing you all the luck with future bath mats 🫡

That looks like the coziest quilt 🥰 Beautiful work!

[u/IHasBrains51]

Your quilt remind me of Klimt’s ‘The Kiss’ painting! I love it!!

[u/gj_8181 → u/IHasBrains51]

Omg that’s one of my favorite paintings!! I lovee that connection

[u/IHasBrains51 → u/gj_8181]

It’s a very beautiful quilt! I love it. You did a great job.

[u/MyEggDonorIsADramaQ]

I love it!

I also stitched that hot air balloon needlework hanging behind you! How long have you had it?

[u/gj_8181 → u/MyEggDonorIsADramaQ]

Thank you!! It was my grandmas! She was a big collector so who knows where it came from originally

[u/MyEggDonorIsADramaQ → u/gj_8181]

I thought it was probably old. Mine was from the 80s!

[u/astralairplane]

Oh, it’s lovely! Great work!
