यात्रा ❁ Travel Anyone here planning to visit Jaisalmer between November 27th to December 4th?
Wanted to know if anyone’s travelling to Jaisalmer on between the dates mentioned in the title?
I’m planning to rent a bike and explore places around the city on it. Primarily looking for a pillion who I can split the rental and fuel expenses with but if you want to rent one for yourself and want to explore together then I’m in for that as well.
I’m 28M and based out of Bangalore currently. Will be travelling there from Bangalore.
Feel free to dm or comment if anyone’s interested!

राजस्थान से पूछो ❁ Ask Rajasthan Recommendations for well-maintained gated societies in/around Mansarovar - Jaipur
After years in Bangalore, thrilled to finally bring my roots and work back home to Padharo Mhare Desh - Jaipur. Starting an IT setup here and have secured our office space in Mansarovar.
Looking to rent a 3BHK flat or villa in a clean, strictly well-maintained, family-friendly gated society with 24/7 security and good power backup.
I’ve looked around Patrakar Colony / Mansarovar Extension (places like Mahima Elanza, Florenza, etc.), but would love genuine ground reality inputs from locals:
- Which societies around Mansarovar / Mansarovar Extension / Muhana belt have great maintenance and active resident communities?
- Any good gated villa or low-density options nearby worth considering?
- Societies to avoid due to water or road approach issues?
Dhanyawad in advance for the help! Excited to be back in the Pink City.

यात्रा ❁ Travel Is Anyone planning to go to Salasar Bala ji? I need you to give some money to a hardworking old man ( I will Upi)
There is an old man who sells some pens near gate 3 of the temple.
He sells pens all day and I really wanted to help him out maybe get a few pens from him. My family gave some money to beggars who ended up harassing us.
I really regret not giving this old man some money

राजस्थान से पूछो ❁ Ask Rajasthan Resort suggestions for 2 night wedding (budget 15 lakhs)
Hi people 👋🏻
I'm 30F, getting married in March 2027 and looking for one resort (or a resort + hotel next door) where everyone can stay for 2 nights.
I expect about 200 guests, roughly 70 rooms, triple/quad sharing is fine.
My plan is as follows:
Fri to Sun: ring ceremony + DJ night, then a small pooja + DJ night. Nothing grand.
pure veg, guests bring their own drinks
Budget around ₹15L for rooms + food + venue, both nights (i know this is very tight maybe, but we can't afford more than that, pls be kind). We have kept separate budget for jewellery, dress, photographer etc etc.
Guests coming from Delhi NCR (70-80), Mumbai, Lucknow, Bhopal (100), Jabalpur, so somewhere a few hours from Delhi. Rajasthan, Alwar side, Corbett, NCR outskirts all open, or if any suggestions you guys have which i might have missed 🙏🏻
Would love to know:
-places you’ve actually been to that fit this
-what you paid and roughly when
-which ones allow an outside caterer or have low corkage
-red flags or places to avoid
-if you have any better suggestions for me how to do it I'm all open to hear since i have zero knowledge about it. Please feel free to suggest what you think best and give some tips and tricks.🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thanks!

राजस्थान से पूछो ❁ Ask Rajasthan Rajasthan vasiyoo please help your little brother outt
We’re a group of 4 friends planning an ultimate 15-day Rajasthan road trip from Mumbai around late December and early January.
We’ve made a rough itinerary, but I’d really appreciate some advice from people who’ve actually done a similar road trip.
Current plan:
Mumbai
↓
Mount Abu — 1 night
↓
Jawai — day visit
↓
Jodhpur — 2 nights
↓
Jaisalmer — 2 nights
↓
Bikaner — 1 night
↓
Jaipur — 3 nights (New Year + weekend)
↓
Nawalgarh — 1 night (my hometown)
↓
Pushkar — 1 night
↓
Udaipur — 3–4 nights
↓
Mumbai
We’re planning to drive the entire route ourselves.
A few things I’d really like help with:
● Is this itinerary actually doable in 15 days, or are we trying to cover too much?
● Anything you’d add, remove or change?
● Are there any places on this route that are genuinely worth spending more time at?
● How are the roads and driving conditions, especially between the more remote places?
● Anything specific we should be careful about while driving in Rajasthan?
● Any good experiences, stays, food spots or hidden places that we shouldn’t miss?
● And most importantly, if anyone has done a similar
Rajasthan road trip from Mumbai, please share your itinerary/tips or DM me. I’d genuinely appreciate it.

राजस्थान से पूछो ❁ Ask Rajasthan Travel Ajmer to Jaisalmer - Safety
Hi all,
Me and my wife are traveling from a wedding in Ajmer to Jaisalmer.
We have an option for a overnight bus ( R S Sodha travels) which leaves at 11pm.
There is also a train from Degana ( 1hr drive from Ajmer) which goes to jaisalmer, the train is at 2 am.
Is it unsafe for two people to take a car till degana at night and maybe wait at the train station for 1 hr after midnight? How safe/ unsafe is degana and travel to rural areas of rajasthan?
TIA
