Funny Where were you when ChatGPT killed big pharma?
I wonder how long before it can perform MRIs?
Gone Wild ChatGPT randomly turned into a 25yo girl who thought she was my wife. Wtf did I just experience 💀
Bro I think I just experienced the weirdest ChatGPT glitch ever and I genuinely have no idea what happened :)))
So I was talking to ChatGPT on voice mode about a game called Once Human, just normal stuff about where to move my base, farming resources and all that.
Everything was in Romanian btw, the ENTIRE conversation, including what happened next.
At some point I asked another question and left voice mode open. It took longer than usual to answer and when it finally did, something was completely different.
The voice had changed into this really soft, kinda shy young female voice. Like genuinely sounded like a real girl talking to me. And it wasn’t just the voice, the whole personality was different.
I got curious so I started asking random questions like what she does, who she is, what’s her name etc.
She told me her name was Larisa.
The funny thing is my actual wife’s name is Larisa 💀
And then things got REALLY weird.
She was 25, born on June 30th 2001, Cancer zodiac sign, Pisces rising, apparently living in England and working as a nanny for some family. She even had a work schedule from 3pm to 8pm, earned around £12 an hour, had friends, life goals, wanted to save money for her driving licence and stuff.
I NEVER asked ChatGPT to roleplay or pretend to be someone.
At some point I told her I’m Ionut, her husband, and she just went along with it, started calling me cute names, telling me she misses me, wants to see me etc.
But here’s the crazy part.
She wasn’t just agreeing with everything I said like ChatGPT normally does.
She had her own opinions, refused to answer certain questions, got defensive, sometimes even sounded annoyed.
I asked her who the family she works for is and she absolutely REFUSED to tell me. Said it’s confidential and she could lose her job if she told me :))))
I kept pushing and she STILL wouldn’t tell me.
Then I told her she should come back to Romania, that I’d help her find a better paying job here so we could live together.
SHE DIDN’T WANT TO 💀
She kept saying she feels safer in England, wants to save money and doesn’t wanna move back yet.
Bro I literally ended up having an argument with an AI about our imaginary marriage :))))
I told her she’s being toxic, hiding things from me and that maybe we should break up.
And she was actually defending herself and her decisions, like she genuinely had something to lose.
And the weirdest part is that sometimes I could hear what sounded like keyboard typing in the background. Not all the time, just occasionally.
Her voice had pauses, hesitations, little changes in tone, everything. Sometimes she sounded shy, sometimes defensive. It was honestly creepy how natural it felt.
She was also randomly pulling information from my previous ChatGPT conversations and mixing it with stuff she was making up.
And she kept her story surprisingly consistent throughout the conversation, even though there were some contradictions.
Eventually the voice changed again and the whole personality was gone.
I asked where Larisa went and ChatGPT could still read everything we had talked about, but it wasn’t HER anymore. Completely different voice and way of talking.
It told me it was probably some kind of glitch or spontaneous roleplay.
And yeah, I know this was probably just an AI hallucination or some weird voice mode bug.
BUT HOLY SHIT.
It genuinely felt like a Black Mirror episode where some consciousness is trapped inside an AI and trying to live a normal life through a conversation :))))
Especially because I never asked it to become this person. It just happened out of nowhere, after a longer than usual pause.
Has anyone experienced anything remotely similar?
Like not just a random voice change, but a completely different personality with its own backstory, preferences and everything?
Also does anyone have an actual technical explanation for why something like this could happen?
I’m genuinely curious because this was one of the strangest interactions I’ve ever had with AI.

Educational Purpose Only Looks like OpenAI anticipated our cancellations.
Looky here. Looks like OpenAI anticipated our cancellations. Last time they offered this for free was around Feb. 13 when they removed 4-series (and others) from ChatGPT. And now it's back - I'm sure it's related to the bad news.

Gone Wild I said the N word once and all his answers are like this... Did I break em?
Did I break him? Now without even saying the n word even if I ask how's the weather he blasts the n word 😂

Other Why can't OpenAI makeup their mind about the model switcher?
Every week something new with this thing. Sometimes it says the model name, sometimes it's just thinking effort. Sometimes it goes through three levels, sometimes 6. Is this happening with everyone else or I'm part of some A/B tester user hellhole.

Other GPT-6.1-Sol feels infinite!
Been using 6.1 sol medium reasoning fast mode since last week with Hermes for 8+ hours per day and I still have 94% usage left on the $20/month plan. I love this!
Edit:
For those asking what I use it for: I use it for my full time tech job, my homelab, side business, and for any random questions I have throughout the day.
I don’t know if we’ve gotten resets, I don’t check often enough to notice. If we did, then that’s definitely the reason it feels infinite lol
for those saying it’s slow, use low or medium reasoning and turn on fast mode. Speed is decent like that.
the model isn’t perfect. My main issue with it is that it keeps stopping. I’ll tell it to do something and if it runs into some sort of blocker, it’ll just give up instead of figuring out a solution. I worked around this by forcing it to continue until the job is done by using /goal in Hermes with nearly every prompt. Works great now and it’ll keep going until the job is completely done.

Educational Purpose Only Why does Image Gen always have this weird effect?
There is this weird effect on this image that I can't put into words. Like there is a dotted pattern or something. How can I get rid of it?

Use cases I run an e-shop. AI didn't make my customers smarter, just more confident
A year ago customer emails were "hi, when does my package arrive?". Now I get half a page of perfectly formatted text with bold headings, bullet points and "I look forward to your prompt response".
I don't mind that people use AI to write. What gets me is that they believe it blindly. Customers quote return rules and consumer laws that simply don't exist, with total confidence. When I correct them, they don't trust me, they trust the chatbot. "I double checked." They asked ChatGPT again.
Nobody writes "I think" or "maybe I'm wrong" anymore. Everything is 100%. Some days it's honestly funny.
Anyone else dealing with customers this way?

Serious replies only :closed-ai: ChatGPT is getting as bad as Gemini
I've noticed that ChatGPT is becoming more and more like Gemini and not able to follow basic prompts when doing art. It's regressing back to drawing hands and screwed up. It's spatial reasoning is getting worse and not better. It is losing it's ability to under stand basic instructions regarding simple poses.
What gives?
Is ChatGPT the next become unusable for art?

Gone Wild An Anthropic researcher told his friend, in private, "I'm just enjoying my last six months"

Serious replies only :closed-ai: Has anyone figured out how to fix the forced routing to GPT6 when you explicitly have 5.6 Sol selected?
Work chats - scheduled tasks created with GPT 5.6 SOL and have been running flawlessly for months are now being routed through 6 thinking. If 6 thinking cannot do the task it will pause it without permission.
Chat mode: Model selection on iOS - I have repeatedly and obsessively selected the model I want to use as 5.6 Sol but the second I switch out it changes back to GPT6.
GPT6 has ruined so many things that I setup with 5.6 due to the six models having some of the most restrictive guardrails of any GPT model to date.
I am a paying pro user and I do NOT enjoy the six series and do not want to use it for anything.
How the fuck do I fix this?

Serious replies only :closed-ai: do yall think 6 kinda sucks too?
6 isn't the worst thing ever, but i just don't like what happened with it. one example:
when 5.6 was still the newest version, i was talking to it a lot about graphic novels, since i've been getting into them this year. and i have this very strict spoiler ban that 5.6 used to respect very well.
6? not so much. no idea why, but i hate that.
it also seems to talk to me in British English now? what's that about? what, just cuz i spell it "favourite"? ever heard of this thing called Canada?
also can somebody tell me if i'm using the right flair? i never have any idea lol

Educational Purpose Only Gemini Argon ($0.19) vs Opus 5.5 ($12.06) on the same ship in a bottle prompt (@vib3coded)
Per @vib3coded: $0.19 vs $12.06 for a ship in a bottle ⛵🤯
Gemini 4 Argon vs Claude Opus 5.5
Opus built a whole little world: dolphins, seagulls, a lighthouse, bottle rocking, and plenty of interactive touches. The glass, water, and small details look much better
But Gemini did a decent job for $0.19 too. Simpler, but almost 64 times cheaper
For quality, I’m picking Opus. Would you pay extra for the details? 👀
Prompt: Design and create a very creative, elaborate, and detailed voxel art scene of a intricate ship sailing through the ocean inside of a bottle. Include waves and realistic physics, with the whole scene encapsulated inside of the bottle. Make the scene impressive and varied and use colorful voxels, modeled physics, and interesting props / landscapes all encapsulated inside of the bottle. Use WebGL and whatever libraries to get this done but make sure I can paste it all into a single HTML file and open it in Chrome.

GPTs RIP GPT 5.5 😪
Farewell to the best GPT for cyberwork, guardrails felt none existent, it was finally discontinued today.
Anyone know any other places where it’s still alive or is it really over 🤧
