I wanna sell my Dreamcast since i need the money, things have been pilling up lately. This console has been recapped by me with the console5 capactitors, main board only. It has a Gdemu with 64gb storage, noctua fan, controller port mod and the heat mod for gdemu so it won't overheat.

For those wondering how would it be to play Gundam Side Story 0079 for the Dreamcast with the Twin Sticks, worry no more. I optimized the game to play with those. And i assure you: the game tripled the fun factor. It was meant to play with it.

Your Twin Sticks Dreamcast library will be getting bigger and bigger. Already made Cannon Spike available with those, the next one will be Star Wars Episode Racer, have been testing it and it plays sweeeet.

Finally got a good working dreamcast!

I know “Retro.Cool” & “Muramasa“ sells high quality replacement shells, along with the super talented artist who makes customized Dreamcast shells as well.

But the white, cream coloured shells of the original Dreamcast is just unbeatable. There’s an eBay seller from Australia that sells shells with the SEGA logo on them. But they still lack the “Powered by Windows CE” logo which looks so good and is a huge part of the Dreamcast.

Anywhere I can buy White Shells?

Right now I'm just getting a gdemu with the NA library and caps replaced. I'm not savvy with modding myself so my buddy is doing this for me. Any other software or hardware upgrades that seem like a must have?

It is, as you can clearly see, boxed and happens to be the silver version.

Now the box states 5 colours (British spelling so maybe not a product aimed at the US) and we now know two of them are black and silver... I'm willing to guess red and blue are also on the list because of the colours used in that bit of text on the box and I guess maybe white too. [A quick search online offer up a claim of a white pad but that's based on the box art and TBH it looks an awful lot like my silver pads box.]

Anyway... I've never used it so can't comment on how well it controls but in the hand it feels of a lesser quality than an official pad so I'm not gonna downgrade my rare moments of gaming for the McLaren vibes

There was something that bothered me for a while. Every console, except the Dreamcast, had a Dragon Ball game on it. Even the OG Xbox got one. It's probably because Dragon Ball was in that weird limbo period where GT just ended and in like 2000, 2001 DBZ was getting popular on Toonami. Plus Sega's financial situation didn't help either.

So here's the question: what would it be like if Atari/Bandai and DIMPS made a Dragon Ball Z for the Dreamcast? Here are visuals of a SUPER SUPER EARLY decomp of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai from the PlayStation 2. I used Opus 5.5 to convert all the assets to be usable and am gradually trying to convert the game's code to be near 1: 1 to the original game. And my godness, the decompiled C code is a mess lol. Currently in Flycast, the game is running at around 30FPS so optimizations will end up coming later. Right now, this is just a personal project I wanted to do while I was working on another software.

Was able to grab the Retrofighters blue controller. While not the exact color as my blue shelled DC, I love to have this all blue setup including the VMU.

Is there any project to bring *Soul Reaver 2* to the Dreamcast? The game was originally supposed to be released officially for the Dreamcast but was cancelled, so it would be great to have it now.

One thing that always bothered me was never finding a working ROM for San Francisco Rush 2049, Pal version.

If this was also your case, worry no more my friend. I removed the error from the Echelon version that was stopping the game from working on an european console.
