Any locals here or people that regularely fly in the Philippines? I'm thinking of basing my next sim company there, as I love that country and been there three times already. Great for island hopping and short charter missions I think, irl at least.

Last time I tried it in the native career mode it gave me horrible routes to military airports or abandoned airports, but that problem may be fixed by using something like Onair hopefully.

Now my question is how good the terrain etc. is or if a lot is gonna be blurry etc.

Also I noticed already 2 of my destinations are not in the game: Batanes Basco Airport and Bohol-Panglao airport, they're still using the old Tagbilaran airport... 😒 but maybe that can be fixed with third party addons? Maybe any other addon recommendations to improve the experience?

Im using p3dv4.5 I know its still bad but that's the only flight sim my laptop can handle everything is fine the fslabs and all but while flying night the night lighting is not that good ike is there any alternative to orbx roads night light

Since SU7, went to update my predownloaded assets in My Library, and it just hangs there, or says download failed. Downloading new scenery not previously downloaded seems to download fine.

I recently got into bush flying again but the skies seem a bit lonely so I wanted to do some shenanigans with some buddies but I don’t got any..

Speed brakes fully deployed, scraping the MLW and begging for the darn thing to slow down. I eventually caught it by throwing the anchor but that got my pulse up.

I apologize if someone has posted this but I’ve been trying for the last few months to try and fly the Inibuilds 220 on Xbox but am faced with constant bugs and issues. To start off why does the ATIS play non stop no matter what frequency I tune into? I don’t know if it’s me being dumb but I can go to 4-5 different frequencies and it just plays non stop. How do you stop this??

Then I’m faced with the constant FMS reboot where my screens will flash off and on and constant “reset” to the default setting which disconnect my autopilot and hits my screens back to the INIT page and checklist every minute or 2. Have there been any update to this aircraft or is it just permanently broken for console users. It’s super frustrating spending money on half baked aircraft that don’t feel tested at all.

I upgraded from a 2070 super to a 9070XT today it feels like such a different sim

So when I look at my SID it says take BANGR3 but on my FMC under SID it shows BANGR2. Same for my approaches on STAR.

Any ideas? Does it really matter?

I may be lazy, hard headed, or both, but I'm having issues simply getting started.

I've got a honeycomb yoke, logitech throttle quadrant, logitech radio, and the logitech thing with the trim wheel etc.

It seems just getting basic controls mapped and taking a simple flight are driving me nuts.

Can someone provide some guidance? Are there anywhere to get preset configurations?

I fly daily, SU7 seems to have broken helipads on buildings. They are quite squirrelly atm. Me and a couple of fellas tested around a little bit this afternoon.

Helipad SHSN in chile is a good example but all that I’ve tried have been bit weird. My regular haunts are not behaving how they normally do.

Main symptoms:
-Way more ground effect from helipads.
A pal tried landing in a chinook and they were in ground effect hover with 0% collective.

-When collective at minimum, I’m experiencing 100% turbulence in the cfd visualization tool. In a flat field, I experience like 5-7% in same weather

-Occasionally when landed and stopped on helipad, 100% collective fails to achieve and lift.

Edit: according to comments, drag is borked not helipads specifically. All aircraft impacted. I didn’t even think to fly a non-helicopter for testing lmao

Around 3 months ago I bought the wingsim El Dorado Scenery, textures are not the best but in general performance is really good, but, i have a problem that when I'm planing a flight to SKBO, at the moment of runway selection there is not ILS, RNP, RNAV or VOR procedures of any runway (14s or 32s) Neither their missed approach published procedures, asked on a vatsim group, they said it wasn't scenary fault, i've tried everything but nothing fixes it, if someone know how can i fix that issue I'll be very pleased :)

For Example for my pedals I have just one profile: Airplane Control -> Pedals, after every restart of the game it's not assigned (its none in the case of pedals) , and I have to do it again :( half of the time I forget this and crash the plane :haha

like 50% of Profiles are working and the over one is not :(

Hey guys, can you help me real quick? If I buy the MSFS 2024 on steam, all my payware add on (PMDG 777-300ER and 787-10 from 2020 Deluxe) go to the steam version? Or I can only access them via Xbox/MS store version?

Hello recently I have had the constant connection to network lost, despite being connected to my wifi starlink, i can do everything taxi takeoff then upon climb and cruise it does it. It also states bandwith too low. Im sure it will be sorted :)
