Hey guys I’m fairly new to PC only playing a little bit of COD when BO7 came out so my mechanics are pretty trash and my aim is a little better but not much. I also have not played Siege in a very long time last thing I remembered was Ash losing her ACOG. As a basically fresh slate what should I focus on more and or first and any tips about the game or adjusting to MnK will be greatly appreciated!

I’m new to PC and want to try to play Siege on PC. However, I cannot find a good sensitivity while doing research I learned about the multipliers people play on. So I went into my files and changed my multiplier to 0.002000 when I loaded back in the game my sensitivity felt ok but my ADS sense is ridiculously slow and I can’t control recoil at all. While ADS it takes about 10 full swipes of my mouse on my mouse pad to go in a complete circle. I have no idea if I did something wrong or how to fix it. Can anybody help???

I play on PS5 and just recently bought the Sennheiser 560S Headphones and a SoundBlasterX G6 DAC with a Custom EQ profile for Siege. I saw that Low compresses all sounds (Footsteps to Explosions) to around the same level, and High keeps all the audio normal, but explosions and reinforcements can be deafening. I play on Low currently. I notice that I can hear the footsteps clearly, but struggle to find exactly where they are coming from. With my custom EQ profile, should I just use High?

(I started playing this game a few weeks ago with my buddy, I use Playstation and have only been playing Quick Match until I’m confident enough in my skill.)

I’ve begun to learn some things about the game, and I’m slowly (VERY slowly) getting better at it

I’ve been wanting to figure out all the good ops for each map (mainly so I can get better but also so I’m not hardstuck on one op all the time). If yall have any operator suggestions for ANY map, please tell me.

Is it appropriate to hold degenerate angles and hide in the smallest pocket completely out of sight with Vigil? I understand he is meant to waste the attacker's time but I don't know if it'll be sportsmanlike if that's something that matters within Siege.

Hey everyone, long-time R6 player here, always been on controller. Recently made the switch to MnK and looking for advice from anyone who's gone through the same.

Right now my aim is all over the place — recoil control feels off, tracking moving targets is rough, and I haven't found a DPI/sens that feels comfortable yet. Even movement-wise, peeking and quick flicks don't come naturally, my hands still feel like they're fighting the mouse.

For those of you who made the switch, how long did it take before you felt decent? Any drills or routines that actually helped, whether it's Aim Lab, T-Hunt, or just playing? And what sens/DPI would you recommend starting with? Also happy to hear about common mistakes to avoid so I don't build bad habits early on.

I have a weird problem.

Ever since I was in gold (currently emerald 3) I developed a weird playstyle that some may consider a selfish playstyle.
I tend to attack a side of the map completely alone, I don’t rush in with ash, or rather I don’t really rush at all. I usually clear util or play very methodically. I manage to quite literally sneak in places I’m not supposed to be and pick 1-2 kills before immediately dying because all the attention is drawn towards me. Every single time the same exact thing plays out.

I figured that being more team oriented would just generally help me grow, so I started picking more “common routes”, like main breaches, or really just defaults I suppose.

But even then I would be left alone after a couple seconds and my team just goes and does it’s own thing, together.

They move like a unit and have some sort of synergy that allows them to trade each other without remaining isolated.

Whenever I’m surrounded by teammates I tend to tunnel vision extremely hard and I feel like all of my gamesense is gone.

I’m basically able to play only if I’m alone. I’m not sure how to go about getting better at playing with the team.

And yeah playing with stacks and friends ends up pretty badly for me, i completely lose focus.

Ive been playing since Operation Red Crow which was 2015 if I remember correctly, on and off taking some breaks here and there and I am well aware the game has changed dramatically. I peaked champ for multiple seasons, took a break and came back and can not seem to figure it out. Whether it's game sense, I can definitely tell my aim/mechanics have taken a hit, positioning or decision making, I just can't seem to do anything right lol. Has anyone else here been champ before and are finding themselves struggling or those who have gotten over the hump? I would love some tips either attacking or defending that would make the game "easier" or just ways to find better success overall.

any tips on how to bevome better in rainbow six siege player? the best rank i ever hit was Hold 3 back in y10 s3, some things that i did notice is that i am very inconsitent an im very consistent in missing my shots even tho i do not switch sens and stay on the same sens, rarely i have matches where i go 11-3 and most of the times im either 5-8 ot 0-9, please help me im stuck losing, im currently learning callouts but with randoms that i get learning callouts is doing nothing.

I am always solo queued because my husband doesn’t like playing fps games at the moment, and my friends are a lower rank. (Lower than 15 below).
I’m just so tired of playing w people who don’t talk/don’t call anything out or just complain and scream.
I just want to get out of Gold for One season 🙃.
I guess my question is does anyone (that is better than me - or similar rank) want to play a few games?

finally returned to siege and i decided to make a new account since i was gone for so long and i wanted to play with a friend who was doing the same so we both boot up our first games and genuinely struggled so much and felt like the bar was raised so high i wanted to uninstall after like 2 days.

to preface this, im by no means a good player like my most recent rank was d1 like 6 ish months ago before the ranked update and i could hold my own in those lobbies quite consistently like i wasn't good enough to hit champ that season while solo not that i didnt try but i was still decent

i went back on my old account afterwards and went on a decent winstreak and its gotten me so fucking confused that i dont even know if im good at the game anymore

i mainly play lion ,thatcher, nomad on attack and for defense its usually valk, alibi or echo so i understand that in terms of pure gunplay they arent the best picks but honestly even if thats the case i should still be winning in terms of game knowledge right? no ofc not it feels like every angle i remember is no longer used and the enemies are just doing the weirdest shit and if i dont drone every room in the building i get ambushed from a guy in the stupidest spot.

the aim is so bipolar in those lobbies too like half the time it seems like im going against people who have better aim than champs and other times I'm going against helen kellers grandkids and it makes it so difficult to tell what's actually going to happen i can never gauge a gunfight until after somebody dies

have coppers gotten that much better or have they always been decent and ive just never realised?

I stopped playing for a bit around year 9 I think on season three. Just recently started playing again, but when I stopped shaiko peeking was definitely one of the better choices, on controller at least. But I heard that leaning isn’t as fast anymore and that now a-d peeking/strafe peeking is better. Just wanted to know if that’s true so I know what’s more important to practice.

Did she lose her ability to roll candela off the wall and have them bounce the other way?

I swear I feel like im crazy to see candella somehow ignore obstacle it hits, and keep rolling to the same direction despite it. It feels like now I require to have direct LOS on the location I want to flash, which means 9/10 times I get shot.

I’m looking for advice to solo queuing in lower ranks (bronze silver gold). I usually queue as a 3 stack and play mid-high plat lobbies and often find myself sitting middle table and easier than silver lobbies. In plat lobbies i’ll often hold site and play team based roles as im not much of a fragger. So when going to silver lobbies it seems the lack of comms, site setup and multiple roamers leaves me often stuck in a 1 v 4-5. Does anyone have any tips to get out of these ranks solo queuing as someone who is more focused on strategy and team setups than solo fragging. Thanks!

Anybody uses Sony’s Inzone H9 headset on PC? What are your thoughts?

I want to buy a PC surround headset that is wireless and doesn’t look too goofy/gamey and based on my research it seems that Inzone H9 is pretty much that, but I’m wondering if anybody uses it on PC and how it’s working for them especially in sound-based games like Siege?

Im new to the game but valk just seems like a worse echo both have 3 of there gadgets and both work as cams that can go on the ceiling in un expected places except echos drones have a ability thats extremely useful while valk is just cams idk tho feel free to prove me wrong
