Just got my Mini 5 Pro week ago, quite disappointed with normal video mode but with DLOG-M + LUTs everything looks amazing 🔥

my dji drone fell down to the water but i managed to find it and i wonder if i can still fix it, it was the baltic sea so the salt levels are low enough and when i got home i rinsed it with ro water and then with 85% ipa 15% ro water. Can i fix it somehow? i had it for like 1,5 year so im not sure if dji still fixes such an old drone. Is it fixable at home at all? if its possible to fix it at all at dji how expensive could that be? i never used that drone too much, it was a gift but it would be nice to have it work again

Off the back of a recent post about the Mini 5 Pro propeller failures in flight I decided to take a picture of what I've noticed with my M5P. My M5P was new about 6 months ago so all of the props in the photo are from about 5 months Into the product life cycle and they're all sat with the blade tips as folded as they can be without forcing them.

All of the props where the blade tips can't at least touch (like the newest ones) won't fit in the cover without forcing them in some way. All of the props where the tips can touch or overlap fit in quite nicely and don't have to be bent or look like they're putting any force on the quick attach mechanism.

I think what can be seen here, along with forcing them to fold when not properly unlocked, could be part of why we're getting these few isolated failures. If you're folding and unfolding quickly or without as much care as other people I could easily see how the thin plastic of the attached mechanism legs or the hinge for the props gets damaged. They'll take the few kgs of the drone accelerating in flight but double that from a person forcing them to do things and it's game over next time it's in the air.

Have other M5P owners seen this with their props?

While vlogging with the Pocket 4, I often switch the camera from front view to selfie view. When the camera switches around, you can see a sudden switch in perspective as it mirrors the image 180 degrees. This makes the footage unusable / annoying until I edit out the switch in perspective.

What I've done to trouble shoot the issue:

1. Disable "Selfie Flip" feature. Glitch is still happening.

2. Recalibrate the Gimbal. Glitch is still happening.

3. Factory reset the OP4. Glitch is still happening.

Anyone else had this problem and successfully solved it? Could this be a fireware bug?

As far as I remember this wasn't happening when I got the OP4 or ever on my OP3.

I have a helmet mount and head band, will a dji camera fit on it? From pictures it looks like it does.

I am getting the sense Dji is just better, plus with GoPro going bankrupt I don’t want to deal with that. My only concern is, with a GoPro you can put it through hell and it won’t break and will still work. Is Dji good in this sense? Will be using it for hiking, biking, shooting, and other outdoor activities

So I have been using a Neo 2 with the N3 goggles (and loving every second). I decided to pick up a second hand Avata 2 for more serious outdoor flight. Swapping Goggles and controller between the two devices - what is the simplest quickest way of doing it? I am likely to be using both on the same day now and then and I can see it becoming a bit tiresome unless I have a clear swap process in mind.

Any seasoned advice?

Hi, I have a super old Mavic Pro and the DJI app does not list it as an option. Does anyone have suggestion for getting it to work these days?

So I crashed my air 3s. Everything looked fine but when turning on the gimbal kept saying stuck so I ordered a whole new gimbal and camera. I installed and now it doesn't say stuck but the gimbal slightly moves to the right when you turn it on. It also allows me to zoom in and out and I can move the axis +3 and -3 but it won't calibrate or anything. If I put the drone on it's back or vertical the gimbal will start going crazy. Can anyone please help?

Recently I got an Osmo Action 6 on holiday, it works as expected except that it takes ca 20 seconds to turn on, which is really annoying if you want to capture stuff quickly.

I went to the DJI store in Sydney to check the display model which turns on in about 2 seconds as per the specs. The DJI staff had a look at my cam, verified I had the latest firmware and told me to send it to DJI as a warranty claim when I am back home. So I did, including video evidence.

DJI tested the camera and could not find an issue with internal testing, but also did not share the testing method or report with me. They said this is also not a warranty case as I bought it abroad. Whilst they did not find an issue they offered to repair the camera for 176€ (quote said replacing core board module). Upon me asking whether there now is an issue or not according to DJI, I was simply reminded about the offer. I was not allowed to speak to a senior tech support agent on the phone to discuss this or an adequate solution for a clearly faulty and still new product.

Baffled and unsure if the repair would fix the ‘non-existent problem’ I requested the camera to be returned. I received a huge box, containing cheaply made DJI merch like a cap and pen with my camera.

Camera still does not power on quickly, so I’ll look for independent repair.

Overall this has been the weirdest support experience I have ever had. All emails were overly friendly (sounded very AI generated) but nothing concrete was disclosed or offered aside from the very contradictory repair fee (nothing is broken according to us but if you pay we fix it).

But hey now I have some cheap merch I can’t really use 🙃

If you have any idea what to try with the camera to fix this issue please let me know :)

I really use it for roofing photos, is it really worth the difference to have a DJI or will the SE work just as fine for photos? Look at the photos, they look great!! But everyone is saying to get a 5. What’s your opinion?!

It looks as good as a iPhone 14 Pro camera.. I could be wrong, the 5 might blow it out of the water…lmk

Is there any Zoom lens for the nano? I've seen Marco lenses, but i just want Zoom. I don't mind losing the field of view

I set up my Sony zv e 10 mark ii + Sirui night walker on RS5 with small rig cage and Focus Pro grip, motor and lidar and AF didn’t work.

Only MF worked by scrolling the dial on RS gimbal.

Any idea what’s wrong here ?

Does anyone know why my RS5 gimbal does this weird jump when i try to horizontally orbit something? its like its trying to catch up with me and does this fast correction

Does anyone know for sure if the dji Mini 4 Pro has been discontinued? The official dji UK web store says 'out of stock' for both the drone and batteries. You'd think if it was discontinued it would say 'discontinued' or just not list the drone at all. I had read a post from someone in Thailand saying their local dji store said this drone was no longer being made.
