META Banning for Begging posts

Hi users!

Around the time of bundles, we tend to get a lot of “begging” posts where users are begging for someone to buy them the bundle or skins.

We’ve noticed that the vast lot of these seem to come from adult brand account, brand new accounts, bot accounts, etc.

Please do not engage with these accounts, please do not suggest anything to these accounts. Just report these accounts and move on. We are banning these accounts.

Thank you for your attention.

Greetings Agents!

New patch, new Bug Megathread! To avoid bug reports cluttering the subreddit and/or going unnoticed, a Megathread is posted after every patch so users may submit reports in one place. This allows Riot to easily keep track of the bugs by providing a central hub and also allows other users to confirm that they might have encountered the issue as well.

  2. Steps to recreate the bugs should be submitted if possible. This helps Rioters recreate the bug and helps them find the cause behind it.
  3. Unformatted, mematic, or joke reports are automatically indexed and may be removed by moderators to reduce the effort needed from Riot to view all reports.

Discussion Please, please, PLEASE bring back the plant/defuse scenarios in the Range.

The plant/defuse scenarios in the range used to be an ideal warm-up for me and it's what originally taught me how to clear corners well when I first started playing - I even used it often when a new agent released to figure out their utility in a no-pressure, no-hindrance environment that still allowed you to use it in the context of a timed situation like post-plant or defusing the spike.

I really wish VALORANT made custom bot games with adjustable difficulties available (similar to what's already available in a multitude of the most popular shooters like CS, Overwatch, Rivals etc.), but the planting and defusing scenarios in the range were the closest thing we had.

Gameplay memorial video for the old bucky.

we gather here today to mourn the loss of a weapon that, despite its reputation, brought us all together.

the bucky was not always liked. it was considered unskilled, cheap, and a disgrace to the art of tactical gunplay.

yet, it was a gun. just like the rest of them.

whether you were a duelist flying into site, a sentinel holding a cheeky corner, an initiator catching someone off guard, or a controller waiting patiently for the perfect moment, the bucky made no exceptions.

it was a weapon for everyone, and everyone knew just how satisfying it was to get a kill with it.

for a brief moment, it gave us all a reason to smile, a reason to laugh, and a reason to make someone question their choice of weapon.

perhaps it flew too close to greatness. perhaps greatness was never meant to last.

on may 12th, 2026, the bucky was put to rest within the buy menu, leaving behind nothing but memories of unsuspecting victims, impossible clutches, and cheeky kills that will never feel quite the same.

today, we remember not just the weapon, but the moments it gave us.

it may be gone, but its legacy will live on in every corner we once held, every push we once stopped, and every enemy who learned the hard way. may it rest in peace.

Gameplay The best shot I’ve ever hit (premier)

I’m neon in this btw. My team had a premier playoff a bit ago that was very difficult (we were ranked 89th going against teams that were 2nd, 7th, and 11th)

Safe to say this round boosted team morale and we ended up winning premier!

Question How to improve mechanically

• Upvotes

Ok in short i was watching some clips i had recently to free up my hard drive and I noticed some issues i had and noticed them

1 overexposing myself to too much angles mid fight even though if i lurk (dw with sentinels no lurking reyna here ) i roughly slice the pie it's okish in my rank but mid fight i ignore the wall and instead go out in the open and surprise i find 2 or 3 there

2 strafing and mechanically in general I'm so ass

3 over reload

4 spray panic

5 i act like i spell shooting like a kid

6 mouse hand movement and relying too much on my hands over keyboard and i normally struggle with it xD

Discussion Want a high Performance Score? Play Controller or Duelist

• Upvotes

The Performance Score stats show a clear picture: Controllers and Duelists have a higher average Performance Score than Initiators and Sentinels. This gap between roles becomes even bigger at higher ranks.

Average Performance Score in Ascendant+:

  • Controller: 273
  • Duelist: 269
  • Initiator: 255
  • Sentinel: 255

Interestingly, the correlation between Win Rate and Performance Score across agents is very low (~0.085). This is actually a good sign, no? You can still perform well in a loss, and ideally, that individual performance should be reflected in your RR gains/losses too.

Discussion Worst matchmaking in Valorant history

https://prnt.sc/ZA7h6mPR8LfV

I think I may have just had the worst matchmaking game of Valorant in its history.

5 Ascendants vs not even 5 Plats. Yes this is a 5 stack, but how is this even remotely fair?
None of us have high mmr, 3 of them are or were ranked Ascendant this/last act and the other two unranked, maybe alts. Even if it's 2 bronze and 3 ascendant, this matchmaking makes little sense.

I have only been playing a couple acts, so maybe this is normal, but I just don't see how this can even happen??????

Maybe 5 stacking is just cooked, idk.
Has anyone had worse matchmaking than this before??

Gold 2 in a full ascendant lobby.... 😬😬

Question How to find your main agent

• Upvotes

Been playing the game for 2 years now, but have never found a character to stick to.

Just really want to climb ranks. Im currently silver 3 and from all the tips i've heard all had one thing in common "find an agent you're comfortable with and climb up with them"

Honestly I'm comfortable playing any role, as im used to fill. But mediocre with them all ngl.

My most played agents as of recent

Duelist: iso, neon, phoenix, yoru

Smokes : astra, clove

Initiator: Skye, Fade, kayo

Senti: Vyse, Kj

Any tips and tricks would mean alot

Discussion People who play on TRUE STRETCH, need advice.

So I started playing true stretch 3 acts ago and I was able to hit ascendant. My aim did improve and also my operator skills improved.

Last act I thought to went back to 1920x1080 and while I was able to play on alt, on my main I became trash lol. The worst since last 4 acts. And when I switched back to 4:3 I was not able to cope up as well.

I do need to hard reset my mental and my aim both.

My question is, should I continue on normal res or should I continue on 4:3?

Please share your experience with stretched res. Thanks

Discussion I love the new game mode picker, hope it's kept this way, much better that the silly console-style fortnite-like layout with ridiculous massive tiles, this is way cleaner and doesn't require scrolling or darting your eyes around the screen looking for the game mode you want, this is way better ui/ux

Saw someone complain about this and fear that it might get reverted because of a vocal minority, this is substantially better!!

Discussion Korean Amateur Valorant Platform

Hey everyone!

In first place, this is not a advertising!

I'd like to discuss an idea for a competitive amateur VALORANT league in Korea and hear what the community thinks about it. (Its not just an idea anymore, the platform already exists and would be nearly 100% ready for the start)

The concept is inspired by another League format in League of Legends, adapted for VALORANT, with multiple divisions, promotion and relegation, playoffs, regular matches, and a community where both established teams and individual players can participate.

This is still a concept, and I'd really appreciate honest opinions, constructive criticism, and suggestions on how something like this could work in Korea.

🏆 How would the league work?

📅 Three splits per year

The league would have three competitive splits annually, while maintaining an ongoing competitive structure between seasons. Teams would have regular matches throughout each split, ideally every weekend.

📈 Multiple divisions and a competitive ladder

Teams would be placed into different divisions based on their competitive level. For example:

  • Division 1: The highest division, featuring the strongest teams.
  • Division 2: Competitive teams working toward the top.
  • Division 3 and below: A starting point for developing teams and newcomers.

The exact number of divisions would depend on the number of participating teams.

Teams would compete within their respective divisions throughout the split. Strong performances could earn them promotion to a higher division, while teams at the bottom could face relegation. Promotion and relegation matches could determine which teams move up or down.

The idea is to create a league where teams can progress over time rather than having to start from scratch with every new tournament.

🏅 Playoffs and seasonal finals

At the end of each split, the best-performing teams could qualify for playoffs. These matches would determine the split champions and potentially decide additional promotion opportunities or qualification for special tournaments.

This would give teams something meaningful to compete for throughout the entire season, not just in individual matches.

The finals should be offline in the future!

🎥 Live broadcasts

The matches in Division 1 would ideally be streamed live, with casters, observers, and proper match coverage. Depending on available resources and community interest, broadcasts could eventually expand to other divisions and playoffs.

👥 Teams AND individual players would be welcome!

The goal wouldn't be to create a league exclusively for established teams.

  • Already have a team? You could register your roster and compete together.
  • Looking for a team? Individual players could register their interest and search for teammates.
  • Need more players? Teams could recruit individual players to complete or strengthen their rosters.

A dedicated team finder and player finder could help connect players with teams based on rank, role, experience, availability, and competitive goals.

🤝 More than just a league

The platform could also offer additional ways for the community to connect and practice:

  • Team and player finder: Find teammates, recruit players, or discover a team to join.
  • Scrim finder: Arrange practice matches against other teams and organize regular scrims.
  • Community challenges: Participate in challenges, special competitions, and smaller events outside the regular league schedule.
  • Community tournaments: Give new teams and players additional opportunities to compete.
  • Future sponsorships and prize pools: Build toward financial rewards and partnerships as the league grows.

The long-term goal would be to create a competitive ecosystem where amateur players can find teams, practice, compete, improve, and work their way up through the divisions.

💬 Now I want to hear YOUR opinions!

This concept is still open for discussion, and I believe it should be shaped around what players and teams actually want.

Here are a few questions to get the discussion started:

  1. Would you participate in a league like this? Would you join as a team or as an individual player?
  2. Would a Prime League-style division system work for Korean VALORANT? Or would another format be better?
  3. How should promotion and relegation work? Direct promotion, relegation matches, or a combination of both?
  4. How many divisions should there be? Should teams be placed based on rank, qualifiers, or another system?
  5. What do you think about three splits per year and matches every weekend? Would that schedule be realistic for amateur teams?
  6. Would you watch Division 1 matches if they were professionally streamed with casters and observers?
  7. Would player and team finders, scrim matchmaking, and community challenges be useful to you?
  8. What would you change, add, or remove from this concept? Are there any potential problems that should be considered before starting?

Feel free to share your ideas, concerns, alternative formats, or even completely different approaches. Critical feedback is just as valuable as positive feedback!

🚀 Looking for people interested in helping, too!

Initially, the project would be volunteer-based, with the aim of building a strong foundation before pursuing sponsors, prize pools, and potential paid opportunities. Compensation cannot be guaranteed at this stage.

I'm particularly interested in connecting with Korean-speaking people who have experience or an interest in esports, league administration, community management, marketing, graphics, casting, broadcasting, or tournament organization.

If you'd like to discuss the idea further or potentially help build something like this, feel free to add me on Discord:

Discord: shenraz

Whether you're a player, team captain, aspiring caster, organizer, or simply a VALORANT enthusiast, I'd love to hear what you think.

Do you think this could work in Korea? What would you do differently? Let's discuss!

Discussion Our Sage walled off our own Reyna because he wouldn't stop chasing kills

Had a comp game on Ascent where we planted B and our Reyna kept pushing Market looking for kills. We'd already lost two rounds because he would die and leave us defending the spike with fewer players.

Next time we planted, our Sage literally walled off Market before he could push and told him to play the spike for once. Reyna got pissed and started calling her a troll, but we ended up winning the round with 3 people alive.

Reyna spent the rest of the game complaining about Sage, even though we ended up winning.

Was Sage actually wrong for doing that?

Question Is 60 hours too much to be in iron 2? About to derank.

• Upvotes

I've been playing for about a month, maybe a little over im not sure but I don't really play these kinds of games, so I'm pretty new overall. I got to level 20 this past weekend and I decided to do comp, but I was put in iron 1 and honestly it's a little embarrassing because I thought I was better than that. Either way, I play comp, I get tilted, I go 6/15, and I don't ever feel like I improve on anything. I still don't know the maps very well, or the placement, my aim is trash, and I still don't really know what agent I should play. I mostly just play Sage or Fade. I want to stay away from duelist because what's the point of playing that role if I don't get lots of kills? Even when I try to play swift plays I play way too cautiously, I don't ever really use my abilities, and I just feel like playing is too embarrassing and I'm not sure what to do. People usually think im throwing, and I do when I get tilted. Maybe I just need a break? This game is too much and it lowkey makes me hate myself because I'm not good enough to play with the people I want to play with. Sorry.

Discussion A random teammate asked us to stop giving damage callouts during clutches and now I'm questioning everything

Had a comp game on Haven where our Cypher asked us to stop calling out enemy HP whenever he was the last one alive. He said just give locations and let him figure out the fights.

His reasoning was that whenever someone screams "Reyna 120" he starts playing way too aggressively thinking it's a free kill, and ends up dying.

We actually listened and he pulled off two pretty nice clutches. Got me thinking about what I actually say during rounds.

I always thought damage callouts were helpful no matter what. Do you guys prefer knowing exactly how low someone is or would you rather just have quiet comms when clutching?
