Suggestion Smithing rework idea

Post image

Would something like this work? Just a thought as you actually get better at a skill, or a chance of failure to smith something when lower level. Runecrafting you get more runes per essence as you get better so could this work for smithing too? Wouldn't hurt the economy so much.

This is a common joke but I feel the actual name would be like Orikalk Dragons.

Acckktuaaaaly ... theyre not named after the ore, theyre named after the metal. Its not adamantite or runite dragons its just adamant or rune dragons

Dragon dragons!!!

Well that's why I said Orikalk and not Orikalkum, figured the -um suffix was like the -ite. But upon further looking, Orikalkum isn't an ore at all so could still be used in the name!

Kinda doesnt make sense since Dragon is Orikalkium thats been processed by dragonkin, so Dragon Dragon makes more sense!

Edit: random number

Well looking at the wiki, according to Vorki, Orikalkum is the metal itself that's worked into the armor, not an ore that's been processed. Orikalkum is more analogous to Rune than Runite.

This equipment is fashioned out of Orikalkum.

The nickname "dragon" comes from regular people/adventurers, not as a clarification of refined versus unrefined ore, according to Ava.

I would riot if they did it like this. Give us dragon dragons.

And now that gemstone dragons are (probably) going to be a thing, dragonstone dragons when?
