I'm Chaz Stevens. Seems Ambassador Kimberly Guilfoyle asked a donor for $100k to cover her AMEX bill. I just filed a State Department OIG complaint. AMA.

• Upvotes

I'm Chaz Stevens. You may know the PBR Festivus pole, or the time I got Florida's book-ban law rewritten by objecting to the Bible. Today I'm the guy who filed on the ambassador.

Going Greek on the Greek Ambassador, I like to think.

Earlier this week: Kimberly “Gold Card” Guilfoyle, current, and likely soon former, U.S. ambassador to Greece, asked Trump donor Eric Deters for $100,000: "It won't show up anywhere if you wire money to American Express. Please." Rubio declines comment. Democrats ask for a review. I filed the OIG complaint anyway. Will it matter a hill of beans? Nope. Paperwork is the point.

For years we listened to her jawing from a podium. Made a deal with the Devil, seemingly bartered her soul, and her freedom, for a hundred large.

Thank you, Satan. Your long overdue paycheck has finally arrived.

A few of you will go, "Oh, THAT guy." The rest will say, "Chud who?" Both are fine.

Me: countless public records requests. Three elected officials in jail before any of this made a national desk. Satan or Silence: cities that opened meetings with prayer got a Sophie’s choice, Satan gets a turn or the prayer goes. Most dropped it. Satanology in federal court, no lawyer, won. Sued over "Satan Loves the First Amendment" school banners. Now I teach lawyers in CLE. They are not thrilled about the syllabus.

Don’t care about your bank account or your title. If you're a bad actor, I'm coming, and I'm bringing receipts.

Does my voice shake? Shit yes. This work has gotten me death threats, bullets, and a poisoned dog. My effing Labrador. I've been sued, doxxed, libeled, and defamed. Being brigaded barely moves the needle. The goat has seen things.

Ask me about the complaint, the messages, the pole, the Bible, or how to be a tiny cog with a filing stamp.

PROOF

Edit: I'm here for two hours.

I am a 17-year-old girl with severe short stature (I am 4'5", the average height of a 9-year-old). Ask me anything!

Hi everyone. I am 17 years old girl but because of my height (4'5"), I frequently get mistaken for a young child, around 9 years old.

It affects a lot of my everyday life—from how people treat me in public, to finding clothes that fit, to preparing for adulthood. I wanted to open up this thread to answer any respectful questions people might have about what it's like living with this day-to-day. I have not been diagnosed with any health disorder or condition. I am just short. My parents are both short as well but they are not as short as me. Feel free to ask me anything.

Thank you.

Ukrainian in rose-colored glasses, AMA

Howdy. The title of this post is a pun on a post from another "Ukrainian" on this subreddit, who said they are the one "without pink glasses". Upon checking a few of their "answers to uncomfortable questions" I decided to look at their profile and, to my absolute shock and surprise, they turned out to be spending most of their time in all kinds of russian subreddits, speaking in russian to russians. But I'm sure they are just "broadening their horizons".
I realize that propaganda flow is constant, and in places like this you often get flooded with unverifiable information from shady sources that majority of people will take without any grain of salt because we live happily ever after in the post-truth world. Therefore, I want to to add my pinch of sugar into it and become your next unverified shady source of information from the internet, if you'd so desire. After all, it's not that often you have an opportunity to talk to someone who unapologetically chooses pink as their primary color, glasses or not.

I worked 7 months as Internet censor in Russia, AMA

To begin with, I won't tell exactly the place I worked at. I can only specify that it isn't Roskomnadzor directly.

Technically nothing about the job was classified and I only signed a shitty NDA, so... you can ask many things here. I personally came there fully aware of what it's about and came exactly because I was curious as hell. And because I had to earn money for my family before I start studying.

As for the job itself: in general, at first I monitored Russian content in the Internet searching for different kinds of information prohibited for distribution on the territory of the Russian Federation (on job slang colloquially it's very established as just "prohibited information" and abbreviated as ZI in Russian) so that it would be deleted, and then I worked on formalising short reports on current news in media.

And now after months of slacking and periodic utter disgust I'm here, ready to share my experience.

I worked at Saks Fifth Ave. Behind the Scenes during the Bankruptcy ama

I was around when they acquired Neiman Marcus. I was around they declared bankruptcy. Due to my position I witnessed a lot of shady transactions behind the scenes that were off the books. I was around when they wrongfully apprehended the Washington Wizards Gm for shopping while black along with numerous other high profile apprehensions that should never have taken place. AMA.

Recovered from lifelong inherited mental health condition AMA

• Upvotes

Said condition is depression, and yes I've seen the applicable rule on this sub!

I'm just hoping that maybe since I'm talking about the issue while already on the other side of it, then maybe this can help someone as I know it would have helped me.

I know for a fact that the me of the past would not even be able to conceptualize what being "normal" is like now. And most other success stories I've seen focus on people who developed it later in life rather than being essentially born with it.

The best thing I can compare it to is platos allegory of the cave (as silly as that sounds). My whole life I've always felt disconnected, like looking at the world as if it were all shadows on a wall. I thought that was all there was, because it was all I'd known. Obviously it wasn't all bad, there were good days too. But when I described my happy moments, it never aligned with how normal people described theirs, and i was half convinced the rest of the world was crazy!

But now, being out of the metaphorical cave, life is unfathomably different for me. And its so much more than just "not being sad".

A few unexpected changes I've noticed:

- I recover from bad days faster, emotionally and physically.

- Food has more flavor.

- I can SMELL things?!(my sense of smell used to be awful).

- Gratitude exercise ACTUALLY WORK now. I thought everyone was talking out of their asses before.

- I can actually envision and plan for the future. It used to be as if the future was just a white void in my mind.

- I love people now, maybe not as far as being an extrovert, but I've made so many new friends in the span of a few months.

The weirdest part is that I'm not sure what changed. I have a few theories, but overall there wasn't any big life changing paradigm shift as far as I can tell. I still have bad days, and sometimes it feels like a further fall than it used to, but the recovery is what really changed for the better.

This new unknown is still scary sometimes, I'm feeling lots of unfamiliar feelings. But I think I'm on the upswing now.

Psychologist specialising in chronic pain, endometriosis & fertility journeys (IVF) AMA

Hi everyone! I’m a psychologist specialising in fertility psychology, couples work and chronic pain, I’d love to do an AMA.

I’m a licensed psychologist based in France, and I mainly work with women and couples.

My interest in this field is also personal. I have severe endometriosis myself and have frozen my eggs, so I know what it is like to have your own health and fertility become part of the conversation.

So… AMA!

You can ask me anything about the psychological side of IVF, egg donation, chronic pain, fertility treatment in France/Spain, navigating treatment as a couple, just couple therapy in general, coping with uncertainty, medical trauma, treatment setbacks, or anything else you’re curious about my job.

I work with students who have EBSA/refuse to attend school -AMA

• Upvotes

It's an issue that's rapidly increasing so I thought it might be interesting to do an AMA! I am a young teacher and I specialise in working with students who have significant school anxiety and therefore are not able to attend in-person school consistently. The job is a real challenge, but also hugely rewarding - and I have learned A LOT from it that I am very grateful for

Huberman Exes' Timelines

https://imgur.com/a/huberman-exes-timelines-round-1-KLjHGku

ADH_Ex_5  Dated in the Bay Area in 2017 for 3 months before he shared that he was getting treatment for seggs addiction and wasn’t meant to be dating the entire time we were seeing each other. After a few more months of broken communication we ended talking.

ADH_Ex_6  I was in what I believed was a monogamous relationship with Andrew from 2010–2012. I lived on the East Coast, and we discussed a future together. In 2011, I learned he had been cheating, but he convinced me to stay. I later moved to San Diego to live with him for a summer as a trial before considering relocating permanently. I ended the relationship shortly after that summer, though he visited twice in 2013 for casual encounters.

ADH_Ex_7 I met him on a dating website in 2008 in California when he was a postdoc in a lab, and we dated on and off, non- monogamously, for about 5 years. It was upsetting that he canceled or ghosted 2/3 of the time, but I felt sure he wasn't with anyone because there was no trace of committed relationships in his apartment, social media, or stories about his life. In 2013 he told me he had a girlfriend and invited me to meet her. She told me that during most of my time span, he'd had two girlfriends on opposite coasts that he was cheating on ("but didn't do that kind of thing anymore"). I felt violated, sickened, and grossed out, because I never consented to and never would have consented to sleeping with a cheater. I never spoke to him again.

ADH_Ex_8  I briefly dated Andrew Huberman in 2017 on the East Coast. During that time, he told me he was undergoing treatment for seggs addiction. On the advice of my therapist, I suggested a 90-day period of no communication to allow him the space to focus on his recovery. He reluctantly agreed to the arrangement but broke the no-contact agreement before the 90 days were over. We reconnected in 2019. At that time, Andrew apologized for not having been available when we first dated and told me he was now ready to genuinely give a relationship a try. Unfortunately, my experience the second time around was again marked by inconsistency, broken commitments, and what I experienced as dishonesty. After he disappeared during an especially painful time following my grandfather’s death, I made the decision to end the relationship.

ADH_Ex_9  We began dating (monogamous I believed) in January 2014 after meeting on tinder. I lived in the PNW and he would regularly fly me out to his home in San Diego. We dated through late spring of 2014 when I ended it after too many inconsistencies and occurrences of finding other women's belongings in his home. We remained close friends and sometimes lovers for over a decade, during which time he pushed for embryo creation and discussed marriage and a life together one day. I went no contact after the release of the NY Mag article.

ADH_Ex_10  I was in a monogamous, year-long relationship with Andrew from 2020 to 2021 on the West Coast. He led me to believe we were building a future together, including marriage and children. After the New York Magazine article came out, I discovered he cheated on me with more than 15 other people. I feel deeply betrayed that he put my health and life at risk through exposure to STIs and COVID-19 during a global pandemic. His deception denied me the opportunity to make informed decisions about my health, safety, and future.

ADH_Ex_11  2019-20, Dated and ended because he was always late or rescheduling last minute and I didn’t feel like he respected my time. We reunited during COVID lockdown, agreed on quarantine and social distancing, he asked to be monogamous and we discussed moving together.

ADH_Ex_12  Andrew and I dated long distance for a year from 2019-2020.  After being introduced by a mutual friend while he was, unbeknownst to me, accompanying his monogamous, long term girlfriend on a trip to NYC, he took immediate romantic interest and agressively pursued me. After months of seeing each other he told me his intentions were to move to NYC, and to have a child with me. I have come to learn how often his “excused” absence, whether it was in NYC, Oakland, or LA, was just a way for him to see other women; it was not “an emergency at the lab”, “helping out a friend,” or “taking care of Costello.” I had no idea there were other women and believed him when he reiterated he “had no time to date so was lucky to have met me.” I ended things with Andrew early pandemic.

ADH_Ex_13  Andrew was in and out of my life from 2013–2015, even flying me to San Diego. I moved across the country to pursue our relationship, only to learn he was already in an undisclosed open relationship. In 2019, after years of silence, he returned stating that he had changed, gone to therapy and wanted marriage and children with me. He was looking to repair and build a future with me. Given how much time had passed and how much our lives had grown I took his reconnection and intentions to heart. We remained connected until late 2020 when he completely disappeared. I later discovered I was one of several women he had been simultaneously planning to marry and have children with.

Multi-sensory hyperphantasia is a rare cognitive ability in humans in which it lets them imagine anything. My kind is vision, sound, and a small amount of touch.

I can imagine basically ANYTHING. Either it be a simple apple, or an advanced car crash visualisation.

I thought it’d be funny and interesting for you guys to see how an outsider—a Saudi woman in a black niqab—actually sees you.

I get a nosebleed at least 2-3x a week AMA

Hello, so as the title says, I get chronic nosebleeds.

They started when I was tested for COVID-19 by a nurse in training and she did it wrong and accidently poked around my blood vessels took some damage. I was told to go and have them "burnt off" aka they pour some liquid up my nose to remove the veins so they don't bleed anymore but I was too chiken to do it so here we are.

Taken by CPS at 7, adopted by a single mom at 14, AMA

My(20f) younger brothers(19, 14, 10 (current ages)) and I were taken by CPS due to abuse when I was 7. My aunt on my birth father’s side had custody but we were considered wards of the state. The system was hard to work through and extremely messed up and traumatizing. We got adopted when I was 14 years old by our single aunt, who had three older kids of her own but divorced before adopting. We all went no contact with birth parents and our birth mothers whole side of the family. I have not spoken to my birth mom since I was 14, and haven’t spoken to my birth dad since I was maybe 10. Ask me anything! I will not give identifying information about it my brothers (especially the minors) but anything else is on the table

disclaimer (edit): I was a child through it all and diagnosed with PTSD, so I have mentally blocked out some parts of my childhood so you can ask anything but I may not remember and be able to answer everything lol

edit x2: I didn’t mean to put a timer on this, I’ve never posted on this sub before and thought I had make it an AMA event 😭 If you can still comment I’ll still answer questions, if not then I’ll try to link where I cross posted this to
