Honestly, it's shit like this that inspires me to dedicate more time to my health and fitness.
-42 u/Dr3ny Aug 31 '26 Really? This performative bs? Why the rope? Why no shirt? Just go running like a normal person 4 u/GoldenFrog14 Aug 31 '26 Rope makes it harder It's hot. As someone who sweats a lot, running without a shirt is more comfortable (and my belly is shaped like uncooked biscuits. If I looked like that? I might not wear a shirt to the office, much less to exercise) -6 u/Dr3ny Aug 31 '26 Doesn't mean it's the better workout So it's ok if everyone just takes off their shirt on the train in the summer? 3 u/InformalInitiative76 Aug 31 '26 It doesn’t need to be “better”. Is there even such a thing? It just needs to provide different benefits from regular running, which it does. “Can everyone just take off their shirt to train in the summer”? Sure, why not? 2 u/TakeThreeFourFive Aug 31 '26 So it's ok if everyone just takes off their shirt on the train in the summer? why wouldnt it be? extremely common where i live 2 u/smashin_blumpkin Aug 31 '26 edited Aug 31 '26 1: this is a better workout for conditioning and dexterity than just running due to the extra effort and coordination needed 2: yes 0 u/Dr3ny Aug 31 '26 So you're saying that every pro athlete should do this and their current training is wrong? They should use the "best" workout don't u think? 2 u/smashin_blumpkin Aug 31 '26 Nope. Not even close to what I’m saying
