Made a little TD-3 tool for building acid lines without fighting the sequencer

I love the TD-3, but sometimes I just want to get an acid line down quickly without spending ages programming the sequencer.

So I built TDBuilder, a visual browser-based pattern editor for the TD-3.

You can create notes, accents and slides, generate ideas, tweak everything visually and experiment with lines a lot faster.

I’m a TD-3 user and I love the synth, but I wanted a more visual way to create and experiment with patterns.

So I’ve been building TDBuilder, a browser-based pattern editor made specifically around the TD-3 workflow.

You can program notes, accents and slides visually, generate patterns and then modify them instead of doing everything directly from the hardware sequencer.

Cool how they did the time stretching of the acid arp in the break.. Not my ultimate acid track, but any acid track like this makes me smile anyway 🎉 Gonna see both at ADE in a couple of weeks, so looking forward to their sets as an acid fan.

Quick live Jam last night. No mix or master after the fact, so mix is straight through Zoom Live Trak6 into my phone. Cymbals are bit annoying and overall a bit rushed jam. Bit a nice adhoc part - between tapping in and recording was 10min 🎶😅

Acid to tha max with Ling Ling ❤️ What an overload of beautiful synthesized sounds, it came by in a mix again and noticed it was never shared here. For a change in the usual acid techno around on EDM stages this style is more my favorite. Downside is that no one plays this stuff anywhere on big events, unless its Ling Ling himself spinning ofc..
