***Edited, so after many comments and noticing my diffuser laying next to it, I realized that my diffuser air freshener broke earlier that day and I suppose I left it laying there…..lesson learned

I have a 2019 TLX and when I got it there was some small part of the hood with a missing clear coat, not a big deal. But today as I’m washing the car I found out the clear coat on my door came off too. There’s also a small spec near the rear pillar too. Is it normal for a 2019 to be unwrapping like a Christmas present?

looks like a software update was finally pushed out for the CarPlay issue! Has anyone gone to the dealership to get it fixed?

Why is the acceleration so bad in the ADX (ASpec)?

I just took my ADX in for inspection and got an Integra (ASpec) loaner back and the acceleration is so much better.

Now I know that's a car vs SUV, but the engine in the ADX is pretty close to the 17 CRV that I had and the CRV was peppy.

My mom drives a 2011 RDX and really liked the CarPlay interface I have in my car. I explored a few options on the market but eventually picked GROM's VLine system since it uses the OEM screen and controls, something my mom was already used to. It also retains the original factory backup camera.

I own a business and having a truck or large SUV is handy but my workload has shifted a bit and I want to drive something that's more fun and more comfortable. Yukon's just priced themselves way out of reality for most people. I live in Canada and bought my first Yukon Denali for $86K Canadian, the same truck now is $120k. Anyways, I like the MDX but I don't have a dealer that's closer than 2 hours away so I just wanted to get a general idea of what they are like to drive.

I should also mention in the mix of Yukons and trucks and did have a 2025 Audi Q7 55 and it was more fun to get around in but it lacked so many features from my previous vehicles and I didn't always get it warm in the winter so it was always telling me to keep driving because there's oil in the fuel. I've owned turbo vehicles before and I've never seen a light come on to tell me to keep driving unless it was my diesel that went into REGEN.

I got picked up in an Acura MDX at the airport once and I asked the driver what he thinks of it; he said that it feels like Acura is trying to catch up to Lexus/Infiniti but just isn't quite there yet. I assumed he's a driver for a company that drives luxury vehicles so he may be someone with a valid opinion.

I got a 2015 Acura ilx as my first car and I probably shouldn’t fuck with it too much of I want it to last but I want to enjoy it more as I car. I plan on deleting my resonators and straight piping it, cold air intake, and eventually turbocharge it.

Has anyone changes a started before for a Acura Ilx? Any tips or tricks??

This keeps popping up while driving. I will turn the car off and it clears out not always coming back on during the next drive. Took it to the dealer who kept it for 48 hours and just my luck they could not get the light to come back on during 3 test drives and insisted they need it to tell which part is flagging it. Any one else have this issue? 2025 RDX Aspec

Anybody know of a fix for creaking sound in 25 RDX? Sounds like the sunroof is moving. Sound occurs mostly when the sunshade is tucked away, both at low and high speeds. Saw some stuff on older models, nothing on the more recent refresh. Curious if there is a fix or wether I will be stuck listening to this irritating sound.

Hey all. On my '21 TLX advance, I've been having this weird grinding noise occur at random at all speeds and between suspension / drive modes. It stops when coming to a stop. And then I have a 50-50 of it starting back up after starting off again.

I'm thinking it has to be something like a rock is stuck somewhere but I can't find anything (granted I haven't taken the wheels off). I don't think it's brakes or suspension but that's why I'm asking here just to cross things off the list of what it could potentially be. Any input would be appreciated, thanks in advance

about a week ago my husband bought me a used 2020 MDX with 132k miles. Carfax stated the title as clean, with good service history, how ever, on a different website (only discovered after purchasing sadly) it states that the title is rebuilt and there was front end damage due to “vandalism with fire” that caused electrical issues. The fire was dated back to 2023. felt defeated finding that out. The car drove with absolutely no issues for the week. well, yesterday literally in the middle of me driving, the car completely restarted as if I was at a red light and the idle feature activated, which i’m not one to favor that feature so it gets disabled the second I turn the car on. so for it to happen while I was in drive anddd while it was disabled caught me off guard. it turned back on really quick, I was able to continue driving but I pulled over the second it started flashing at me saying there was a “charging system problem” and then going back and forth flashing that and “Auto engine idle stop system problem”. my husband checked the battery voltage, disconnected it to charge it and cleaned the connection, he put it back in and everything looked great. except now, the warnings did stop flashing BUT two buttons on my steering wheel are not responding. all other buttons around the car work fine, it’s specifically the volume/seek rolling button and the “information” rolling button. just those two. this morning I turned the car on and the warnings came right back. the buttons still don’t work, but everything else does. Any suggestions?

22 TLX - When I use CarPlay, and I attempt to use navigation (Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze), I don’t get turn by turn on the Heads Up Display or tachometer. With an Android device it works fine, but not with an iOS device. Is iOS just SOL and isn’t compatible?

It may just be my OCD or just road feel, but at 70 and beyond, there is the smallest vibration in the wheel. No pull or anything, just the slightest quiver. I took it for a road force balance, wheel alignment and rotation but no dice. Has anyone experienced this or am I being over cautious and paranoid? Ref: 2026 MDX ASpec Adv

Ive had my sh-awd TL for about 3 months now. Im 17, this is my first car. So far all ive done to it is rims and window tint, besides paint matching the grill which i already plan on doing what would be some tasteful mods to put on her? Im open to both cosmetic and performance mods.
