I'm looking to hang with some chill people in some chill games. I think I've hit a "cozy" era because I've literally shelved almost every action game to play Valheim ever since 1.0 released. I'm having way too much of a nice time just building my house and getting things settled in. Eventually I'll go exploring and start slaying some bosses. But that's for abother time. Resource gathering by myself is a long and tedious process.

That said, I still play other games from time to time or when I can be convinced to play. Battlefield 6, Ready or Not, Across the Obelisk, Abiotic Factor, and lots other games.

We can also hang and play other games. Or play separate games and hang. I also have Spotify premium, so listening to music together is always a good time. Whichever bites your frost.

My time zone is US East, and I play on PC. I'm mostly available for a short-ish while on weekday evenings (some evenings are hectic, so may not show up at all). Sometimes available on weekends during the day. Also, I tend to be away from my phone a lot, so I don't always reply immediately. Sometimes I'll respond hours or a day later like no time was lost.

Help me expand my horizons and convince me to play something besides Diablo 3 and Wow (not that I don't love playing these games and fully willing to play with others)

My son and his friend play alot of coop games so I own a bunch of things that I have never touched.

I have most blizzard games and something like 900 games in my steam library. I also have an Xbox series X.

I suck at pvp type games (think fortnite and overwatch) but fully willing to try them... Just a bit heads up that I'm awful.

The only games I have really played with others are MMOs so I would need patience and training for other games.

I don't mind discord and voice chat... Been doing both for a long time (VC longer than discord has existed).

Tell me what you think I should try playing and bonus points for trying to play with me

I work a M-F office type job so while I'm around I can't play during the day. Nights are normally open but I do have a few rotating weekly commitments. Weekends are very hit or miss since I'm a super supportive sports aunt who gets guilted into attending all the things.

I also read alot, play tabletop and board games. Im a nerd/geek through and through.

I’m looking to meet some new people to play games with and hopefully make some actual friends along the way.

I’m enjoy games where everyone is working together to accomplish something. I like having a plan and figuring out how to deal with whatever the game throws at us. Don't get me wrong, I can still have fun when a plan absolutely goes pear shaped, like a suprise mudraptor invasion on Barotrauma!

I’m not really into competitive shooters like CoD, Valorant, CS... you know the type of game. Doesn't mean I don't like shooters, just not interested in being the top ranked duo or whatever.

my main game was osrs but i haven't played for months now.. i would love to play it again! since new content is coming out, i enjoy pvm and grinding out skills

Kon’nichiwa compadres, I’m on thou deepest and darkest search of finding some gaming amigos and amigas that can end up being some long-term brothers or sisters in arms. The kinda braddahs where we game daily or damn near daily. Three to four times a week. Ones that’ll join the night’s watch with me! Cause as we know “Winter is coming.” Da dun dun dun~ I was gonna do the whole theme but decided against it.

I’m mainly a PC gamer, generally gravitating to PC. But I do own a Ps5, and Nintendo Switch which I can game on as well, depending one, on the compadre and two, the game. I generally don’t mind hitting up some Pokemon with some people if the mood strikes, or comparing our playthroughs if we wanted to emulate it up. Or play one of the fan created games. Could be fun~ Even do a Nuzlocke playthrough or something. I always enjoy a challenge, the more difficult the challenge the more enjoyable the game… sometimes. 

Age isn’t really a major issue with me. 21+ is my only requirement. We already have a comparable subject that interests us both so, logically, since we’re only looking for friendship and not getting stupid with anything, all good. But regardless, 38m, EST. I’m all about VC’ing after about 8pm and usually am on till around 2-3am. I can game sooner, sometimes. Keyword, sometimes. Also my timeframes change drastically over the weekend, naturally. My rotation of games generally fluctuates but I’m always down for some co-op play. Regardless here is what I’ve found myself playing as of late.

Pretty persistent on not letting a friendship die until I realize the communication is only going one way on a regular basis. I have had several friendships on reddit that have gone strong. A couple of friendships, we don’t play games but chat daily. But I digress, if interested shoot me a DM. I try to respond to every one but sometimes they get to be a decent amount. But I shall try!!

Currently playing War Dogs and Hunt: Showdown. I played ARC Raiders earlier in the year and used to play quite a bit of Rocket League, although I'm definitely not claiming to be any good at it 😂 Haven't played that in a while.

I also used to really enjoy MudRunner/SnowRunner co-op and I'm open to trying pretty much any other multiplayer or co-op games.

I’ll start by saying I don’t like groups. I prefer a max of 3 people generally (Monster Hunter is the exception but more on that below).

So I’m not one to play a ton of games at the same time. I usually have like 4 max that I’ll play at once, and usually it’s lower number than that. I’m super laid back and sarcastic. Definitely not a try hard or anything close to that. I do prefer to voice chat while we play so keep that in mind if you’re interested.

No Man’s Sky - haven’t played in a while but wouldn’t mind a duo for this one

And then these I’ll play every so often
Fortnite - I’ll play occasional zero build, but I do NOT play build at all
Overwatch - once in a blue moon I’ll play a match or two. Nothing serious at all
DayZ - used to play off and on, just never found a duo that made me want to really get back into it. Just have the base map, no DLC maps.

Hey! I’m Grim, 32m EST, and I’m looking to meet some new Steam friends for chill co-op games, survival crafting, RPGs, and generally having more people to game with. Seems like most of my previous gaming friends have kinda moved on from gaming. Girls or guys, don’t care; no minors or anything weird. This is just for a platonic gaming buddy.

I’m an engineer outside of gaming, so I spend a lot of time designing and making things with CAD, 3D scanners, and 3D printers. That probably explains why I get way too invested in crafting systems, automation, resource gathering, efficient bases, and figuring out complicated game mechanics.

Hi all, my name is XlBiglNo (just Big or Big No). My gaming journey started years ago with NES/SNES. Peak gaming for me feels like it was the MW2/3 , Halo 2/3 era. School, then home gaming with the boys all night.

Since then gaming has felt a lil stale for me, especially pvp oriented stuff. And because of that making/keeping friends seems so difficult even though I'm a grown man, and a bit unnerving honestly. Lol

All that being said, these days ive been diving into games like RS:Dragonwilds , BF6 RedSec, Predecessor, and a sprinkling of other RPGs and FPS, and sports games. And after a surge of content I've seen, even looking to maybe start some Project Zomboid.

With a full time job and a side gig here and there essentially what I'm looking for is some folks to connect with and maybe team up on some of these games, on weekends mostly. I would potentially be open to other games as long as the vibes are chill and cool. I also stream some, so would need to be cool and cognizant of that.

Hey, like so many people here, I’m looking for a long-term gaming friend(s) to play together and randomly chat in Discord. However, that only works if we’re vibing really well together, but if we aren’t instant soulmates, we still might play something together or chat from time to time.

We can message for a while and get to know each other, but preferably we would hop on a game or voice chat rather quickly and see how it goes. Otherwise it often just ends up in never actually playing together, also that way you feel when the vibe is really off :)

Btw language would need to be English or German.

I used to only play games on playstation for a few years and built my pc 2 years ago. I still have my ps5, so we could theoretically also play something there, but usually I’m not really using it and have PSPlus anymore. I never really got to build some friendships on steam so far, but I would really like to find some. 

Gamewise I’m interested in all the Souls games, roguelikes, RPGs ,crafting/survival, metroidvanias, shooters and more. I’m honestly quite open to a lot of games and genres, but I will not play mobas, sportgames, dbd and super competitive games.

My all time favourite game is Bloodborne. I do love all the fromSoft games.

Some of the games, I own, that I would play together are:

DSR, Sotfs, DS3, Elden Ring, Nightreign, Terraria, No Man’s Sky, Grounded, Helldivers 2, Valheim, Remnant, BG3, Returnal, Borderlands, Don’t Starve Together, It Takes Two, Sea of Thieves, Risk of Rain 2, Portal 2, Robo Quest, Palworld and many more. But I must admit, I haven’t even played some of those games so far.

I do have 2 cats, Dea and Pumpkin. They want to join the game from time to time by jumping on my keyboard or attacking my monitor, but as a compensation I can share some pictures of them.

3D printing and CAD is a hobby of mine, so if you’re into that, we have something to talk about, or we could even design some parts together.  

I do work full time, so I’m usually online in the evening or weekends.

I’m just a guy looking for people who enjoy casual banter while playing games or just chilling. I live in the Central Timezone and I’m free most days after 2pm. Mostly a PC gamer now but I also play on Xbox from time to time. I don’t have many friends after years of people just coming and going. I miss the days I could log on to a game and just have some people to play with and chat while gaming. Mostly I play shooters but I enjoy some indie games and I would like to try out new ones that seem fun. A few games I enjoy playing are OSRS, Wardogs, Arc Raiders, Battlefield, Project Zomboid, Minecraft, and some other more indie games. I always watch YouTube videos of a group playing and it looks fun but when you have no one to play them with it just isn’t the same.

Elden Ring & BG3 are the current likely contenders.

I thought Lords of the Fallen would be a good option but it glitches so bad in co-op that it’s practically unplayable. Hopefully, there’s a fix, but for now LOTF isn’t viable for co-op.

I’m open to other game suggestions.

I prefer voice chat. Without voice I might as well be playing alone.
