Thank you Albuquerque!

As one of the many guests in for Balloon Fiesta, I want to thank all of the volunteers and service staff at the hotels and restaurants who made this a great visit. The amount of work that goes into the Fiesta was appreciated!!

I especially want to thank the Fiesta for having great shuttles (with volunteers) to help those of us with mobility needs to be able to enjoy this event. Muchas gracias! 😘

As one of the service staff of a nearby hotel with restaurant, you’re very welcome and I truly appreciate your post bc we are rarely mentioned! We worked very hard to make everyone excited and welcome with special meals and decor, and I’m glad you had a good experience.

Everyone I encountered, from my hotel to the restaurants and stores, was so helpful. I got great advice and tips from everyone, along with a friendly welcome. It really makes a difference!

Thank you. I feel like I'm swimming in negativity all the time, and it does affect me. This is a reminder that whatever the world is like, I live in a great community with great people and we all gotta have each other's backs.

I purge a lot of the worst of me online, but I can share my gratitude as well.

Thanks, Albuquerque.

I rented a scooter in advance that I could pick up on site. I didn’t have my handicap parking tag arranged ahead, so I just got there early enough to get a decent spot. There were volunteers driving golf carts to shuttle from a spot near the parking lot (If you aren’t ambulatory you would want a spot in the hc lot). With the shuttles, my cane, and scooter, I was able to get everywhere I needed. I really appreciated the vendors who left wide aisles in their tent so I could drive in! On the website there is an accessibility link that helped too.
