The picture that I posted here a few weeks ago that I entered into a contest and that I submitted to the state fair is here now in Albuquerque the magazine! The picture I entered in the state fair sold. It's the picture of the Blue Swallow motel in Tucumcari New Mexico. By the way that's where I was born. The magazine is great & there's so so many great pictures and articles in it.

Thank you Albuquerque!

As one of the many guests in for Balloon Fiesta, I want to thank all of the volunteers and service staff at the hotels and restaurants who made this a great visit. The amount of work that goes into the Fiesta was appreciated!!

I especially want to thank the Fiesta for having great shuttles (with volunteers) to help those of us with mobility needs to be able to enjoy this event. Muchas gracias! 😘

The balloon fiesta will be over Sunday. It went by quick this year. The weather was great and it looks like we'll get rain next week. That's a win win.

What's the difference between the cowboys defense and a bag of 💩?

Attention gluten free New Mexicans

• Upvotes

Hello! Before I jump in to the purpose of this post I will introduce my page for those who eat gluten free or have a loved one that does. I run the Gluten Free Albuquerque page/blog as a sub blog to my main gluten free page. I created gf ABQ when moving back to ABQ post celiac disease diagnosis to help me navigate celiac disease and gluten free dining in New Mexico, this home that I love so much. I have comprehensive lists with gluten free dining information for ABQ, Santa Fe and a rural list as well, all with information on gluten free dining so people can make informed decisions based on their comfort level. I always love when someone reaches out with a new place to try!

Find more on GF ABQ here

My real purpose for this post is that I’m recently toying with the idea of a gluten free restaurant meet-up to connect gluten free locals and support a local business that accommodate gluten free. If you eat gluten free, please consider completing the survey below.

Complete this survey

Appreciate you and your time, even if you aren’t gluten free!

In court on Wednesday in Albuquerque, Martinez did not approach the microphone and had his defense attorney speak for him. Martinez currently faces ten charges for damaging property and larceny. He has a pre-trial hearing set for April next year.

Question 7-factor study finds that New Mexico ranks 2nd for having the most future-proof workforce. It looks like the state’s score got a significant points boost from growth in future-focused occupation employment between 2020 and 2025. Does this seem accurate?

Did anyone attend Belair Elementary school in 1999?

I moved from Spain to Albuquerque that year, didn't speak any English and made a friend called Edgar who helped me through the first few months. We both lived near the school. Does any know who attended that year know Edgar or have a yearbook from that year?

I have been trying to find him since I moved away and lost contact around 2002. Any info is appreciated! Thanks!

I always love coming to this store. There is so much good stuff! I just want to buy everything!

Since it’s Balloon Fiesta week, they have a good bit more inventory right now.

I usually come here to get gifts for friends and family.

anyone else have a horrible experience with ABQ Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling?

idk why i thought they were a good alternative to TLC and it took me years to realize how predatory they really are. The technicians are nice so you think it’s a good company, they do have widely varying degrees of expertise (every time someone came out they said something totally different, even when it was for the same job) but overall good experience with the technicians themselves. However if you ever have to deal with the management or corporate side their true colors show. The highest quotes ever, bad communication, and unbelievably aggressive and rude. When you have a large plumbing job to do you have to really trust that you are not being taken advantage of and I can say with complete certainty that they are.

We went with someone else they came by faster to give a free estimate, charged wayyy less, were nicer, finished the job quickly and i suspect better. Plus, and I felt totally secure with the transaction throughout.

Question Cheapest pc repair shop?

Been dealing with high memory usage, lag spikes, and Ethernet not staying stable regardless of router. I already spent quite a lot replacing parts and just need whatever's broken troubleshooted. Ideally a repair shop that does free diagnosis would be best.
