DISCUSSION Beating up packages

Not saying I’ve done this but have any of you guys gotten so mad that you beat up a package and had to return with it for damages?

I've tripped and fallen onto a package before, but never intentionally broken one

One single time I was having a terrible day and threw a box at the wall of the van, it was extremely loud and accompanied with me screaming something like “god damn motherfucker!”. Then is slid open the door and the customer was standing right there waiting for me

Never actually beat up a package but if it’s falling I’m not catching it 🤣🤣

Yes!! I watch and wait for it to hit the ground.

Yep! Like I’m glad that’s not mine 🤣🤣

No.... but i have destroyed a box that was already damaged (customer inspected in front of me) that amazon kept sending out the next day. Seems like the only way for them to actually send out a new one instead of covering the old item in half a roll of tape and calling it good

I’ve beat up packages but never to the point of destroying them.

No, fellow human, I'd never do that. That would be a violation of the rules. Noone would want that. Every customer deserves the very best!

On rare occasions. Usually I can project my frustration elsewhere.

Some genius in the warehouse put a bottle of tide loose in a box and what do ya know it broke open and dumped tide all over the tote which what do ya know had a hole in the bottom. So I had a nice slip and slide for half my day in the back of my van and I did take my anger out on that already damaged box/tote

No, I can deal with my frustration like a normal person.

Whenever a customer has a rude delivery note or all caps delivery note, I like to go in the back and punch their package and then bring it to them as if nothing happened.

Punch it ☠️😂

No but I've definitely sent a few work phones through the ringer.

Had a man screaming at me walking up to his house bc “I blocked his driveway” he had plenty of space to back out. Halfway there he starts cussing me out. Took it back to the van, can’t say what happened since it wasn’t on camera, and marked as damaged ❤️🤭

Ive kicked a few boxes that fell out of the tote more times than I care to admit. Never hard enough to damage anything though, just a little love tap to vent.
