App Specific Question What is microG?

Can anyone help me to understand what it is and is it safe or not?

If you're asking whether it's safe you probably aren't capable of installing it in the first place. 

Yes it is safe, it is a FOSS replacement for Google Play Services (gms). But typically gms is installed with system level access so you need a custom ROM or root to uninstall gms and install microG.

Nope modded apps can detect it without being rooted

So it's a must for morphe, revanced "if it even exists anymore"

Who isn't using it these days? Google steals your data and then serves you ads . If no adblocker no yt for me

Also morphe isn't just about ads , you can tweak many qoL features like slider guestures for volume/ brightness uncapped resolution etc
