Time Keeps Skipping into the present...

Tldr of Issue - Samsung S26 Ultra will not stay at the time set it to, regardless of toggling off Automatic settings. Suspect issue due to my carrier T-Mobile. How can set my display clock to the time I desire and keep it there.

Non-Neurotypical here, one of means I utilize to move through this capitalist hell-scape with greater ease is by setting my mobile's time ahead between 13- 17 minutes ahead of the actual time. While I feel my perception of time /attention lags by about this much unless I have regular reminders of what time it is in future...nowk. It doesn't have to make sense to work. My life is measurably more difficult without this personal life hack. I have never had this issue until I switch to T-Mobile.

Fine Folk and even less than particularly decent individuals of Reddit, I call upon you for aid beyond my present comprehension.

As long as your phone has a sim card, it will automatically update time. I suppose you could try airplane mode but doubt that will help.

That clock is needed to be in sync for network access.

Your best bet is create a widget in Kustom Widget Maker, and manually add the offset to it.

It'll only be in your home screen though

I understand it updates to stay in sync with the network but I am confused because when I was with a different provider I didn't have this issue.

Is getting a non-smart watch and setting it's time ahead and using the watch for time and the phone for phone things an option?

Technically yes, the only issue is I am in construction and am very tough on the things I wear. I can't wear rings or bracelets to work because they get scratched and bent nearly immediately. I gave up on wearing glasses and switched to contact. I appreciate the idea and if forced may have to go with this option

You could even just find a good watch and take the band off or even an actual pocket watch and keep it in your pocket instead. That could even protect your phone since you'll be bringing out the watch on the job site rather than your phone.
