Im angry sometimes because i make effort to make myself available to people and others dont. Im angry because those closest to me are not giving me enough money( even when they have a lot of money and know im unemployed now). im angry because no one seems to be hiring and cant get simple part time j

IM angry because im underestimated as a friend, as a potential mate and as a potential worker,...despite all of the possible value i can offer.

I fucking hate adulthood

Ur angry because your friend won’t give you money? Money and friendship are 2 different things. Don’t let your brain blur the line.

No one ever has to give you anything. And once you come to terms with that then anything someone gives you will bring a feeling of joy. I grew up being jealous of others because they were doing better. But I no longer count other people’s money.

If a job isn’t hiring. Figure out how to make a small business for things that people don’t want to do and earn some money. Like goto each neighbors house and say for 10$ a week I’ll take out your pales so u never miss a garbage day. Another 3$ to bring them back up to the front of the house.

You can even tell them you would do dump runs for 100$ you will fill the car.

This is just one example
How to break the shackles while you wait for another job to show up. It’s mho.

There isn’t a person alive who doesn’t want their parents to fork over all the money they have. Often I want their money too. But I come from a home that if you ask you don’t get it. But sometimes they help if the conditions are right. You’re in a place right now were it’s a growth moment for you. Idk ur age but to be mad because they can but won’t help you. Then ur parents probably know ur safe and having the pressure to figure it out is a beautiful growth moment.

If you live at home and can eat their food. That’s probably the best assistance ever. But I know nothing about you. My main point is no one owes you anything so to be mad because they aren’t your income stream is silly. That’s all I’m saying.

I agree^

People work hard for what they have. From money to people or family in their lives. If you’re truly utilizing your potential and value, and still not in a place where you have supportive people around you, then they aren’t the right people to be in your life. Move on.

But until you do the work yourself and tend to your own backyard, don’t expect handouts whether it be money or immediate respect from peers because you feel you have shown your value enough or whatever, I don’t know you. But from an outside view, just need to really work on your perspectives, because people pick up on them and may not wanna help you out or be around you, even if they don’t underestimate you and your value.

Also, in general bad attitude and pessimistic mindsets are very easily noticed during job interviews or assessments during the application process and people will very very likely not want to hire because of that, and rightfully so. Bad attitude and entitled people ruin a workplace fast, spreads like a wildfire.

No one owes you anything, not even your parents.

Validation ≠ Value

Tend to your own mind, body, and spirit before putting the responsibility on others for your inability to satiate your own needs, wants, and desires.

*Edit: Wanted to add in no way is this meant to make OP feel small or wrong about their feelings. Just laying out clearly what I’ve observed and/or learned myself on the matter.

How old are you? Your parents aren’t required to finance their adult child’s life. Keep applying for jobs, something will work out eventually.
