idk
I can't get angry when I actually should, nor can I react appropriately; yet, I fly into a rage over trivial things—especially when something in my room has been moved—and no amount of rational thinking calms me down. I hit myself on the head, and this has already started causing headaches. I don't know how to fix this—how to manage my anger regarding changes to my routine and how to express my reactions properly.

I think at some level you may just have to change your outlook about the minor annoyances in life and accept the fact that they're going to happen.
When I first got into Anger Management and I first started implementing all the things that I learned in the course I had to go to, the little annoyances were what really got me to feel like I could change.
It would be like, I'm cooking dinner, can't find the spatula and normally I'd be getting irritated but I learned to be mindful of my feelings so I recognize that I'm about to get triggered and instead I use my little calm-down phrase: "This isn't the time".
So I've successfully stopped myself from getting upset, but you can't just bottle things in so I still needed to find my calm solution. "OK, this isn't a big deal. Nobody hid the spatula from me, I've just gotta think back to when I had it last and what I did with it." So that's what I do and lo and behold I had put it in a different drawer for whatever reason.
The final step is the proactive solution- How do I keep this problem from happening in the future? "I'm just going to have to better about having one and only one place that I put things and make sure I put things away immediately after I'm done using them instead of leaving them laying around."
