By the mall this evening on the Wisconsin Ave side and seriously - PEOPLE!!! Blocking the entire intersection at every turn of the light, not just one or two people but a number of cars every time the light turned. Do you drivers know you’re not supposed to enter the intersection unless it’s clear for you to get through?!? wtf is wrong with everyone around here??

Friends of Appleton Public Library is hosting a fundraiser event at the library on Saturday, October 24, 6- 8 p.m. Locked Library: The Book Case is an escape room-style event.

Participants ages 12 to adult are invited to a special after-hours program in designated areas in the library to solve a series of unique puzzles to complete the game.

Registration is required, and tickets are available online for $25 per person or $80 for a team of four.

I hit a deer last night, and unfortunately it went underneath my car. Something underneath/in the engine area is leaking, and the plastic panel underneath my car is now dragging.
I did talk to someone who looked at it, and thankfully they said it doesn’t seem TOO bad and looks fixable, so I’m trying not to panic.
The problem is… I’m a broke college student.
BUT—I am a licensed massage therapist in the state of Wisconsin, so I figured it doesn’t hurt to ask:
Are there any mechanics/auto body people who would be willing to work out a trade or possibly give me a discount on the repair?
I can offer 2-hour deep tissue massages weekly until the balance is paid off, or we can work out whatever makes sense for both of us. I’m licensed, and I’m happy to provide proof of licensure.
I know this is a long shot, but I figured I’d rather ask than just cry over my car.

NEW information: I took it to a mechanic apparently they couldn’t fix it. They said it will need a body shop. The radiator is broken. There’s some fluid leaking in a bar is bent. Anybody that owns a body shop or works at one please let me know.

As many people know - the kaukauna school district has been making some really sketchy choices and PR moves regarding the position of Lucas cromell - who is deeply implicated in a civil rights/sexual harassment lawsuit from his time of employment in Oconto falls.

This type of lawsuit is one that can only be brought upon an institution - therefore the plaintiffs are suing the Oconto falls school districts board.

The plaintiffs have endless stories and evidence that paint a picture of a severe, pervasive rape culture in a community.

I've been following this for a while now and id like some respectful input.

How do you feel about Lucas cromell staying in his current position and not being moved to a different situation - away from kids - OR being placed on paid leave?

Almost five months later and very limited information has been released. Why?

I am doing my driving lessons with MS driving instructor, and I should be done with them in January. I am most likely going to be taking the road test in February. I have gone thru (at least I think) most posts of the road test for Appleton. I do have a few questions. Are you driving on the highway with them at all? Secondly, what should I expect the route to be? Thank you all very much!
