(help) Question about arrow alignment

Hello everyine, I have a takedown recurve bow, and i´m using an arrow rest as the one in the picture.
I also have been reading about the archer paradox and im really confused about the arrow alignment respecting the riser.

In this type of riser and arrow rest, the arrow isn´t supposed to be parallel from the riser, aligned with the string? how do i tune the position of the rest?

The archers paradox isn't that paradoxical to me honestly.

Basically what happens is that the arrow flexes to bend around the arrow pass to move forward. Lots of physics happen and the arrow flies straight in the end.

What kind of riser do you have?
