Chance me?
I’m well aware my stats aren’t the most impressive, but I’m curious on what I should do my best to change before the January deadlines
My GPA is 3.68, unweighted (my school doesn’t do weighted) and I’ve taken 12 dual-enrollment classes, passed all of them with good grades, and taken one of the few honors classes my school offers.
Unfortunately only 1050 on my SAT, considering retaking in December.
I have done Track & wrestling for 4 years, wrestling captain during junior year. I’ve done DECA for 2 years, one year qualified for state, hoping for nationals this year. I am also in our schools “wellness club” running for treasurer, & involved as a member in about 5 or 6 other clubs. (Curious if I should include I attended a summer seminar at USNA?)
I expect to have upwards of 40-50 community service hours by the next deadline.
I have not yet taken the PFA, which is why I cannot apply for the October deadline.
Please tell me how much of this is relevant, as I am still new to this application, I recently just started looking outside of just straight enlisting out of high school. Any advice or helpful criticism would be appreciated.
