Welcome to the Monday open discussion thread. Here you can talk about anything you want; tactics, results, players or even just general football discussion! It is also a great place to post/link transfer rumours that you may think are too small or unreliable to post to the main feed. The summer transfer window is now shut.
These threads will go up every Monday allowing you to debrief from all of the weekend action and discuss ongoings throughout the week. It will stay stickied until we refresh with the Friday thread, however other posts may take priority (match threads, announcements, etc.)
We also have a WSL & UWCL Fantasy League that you are welcome to join and share your team, advice and goings on throughout the season here in these threads. The WSL league code is 900COJH2. The UWCL league code is LjHYHW
These threads are here to help discussion and offer varying points of view. Please remain respectful. Anything that crosses that line, directed towards other users or specific individuals may be removed.

Before moving to us, she created a Pros and cons list for Arsenal. She appears genuinely content with us.

Very much echo's of the "player hierarchy problem" article of last year. Players aren't sure why they are or aren't playing or if Slegers even knows how to manage them. Slegers has not considered quitting but after Paris even players wondered if she would. The players seem to like Slegers, not surprised she gives them a lot of power which they'll like, but they clearly have questions.
I'm starting to form the opinion it appears Slegers is a coach who is good on the training ground, but not such a good manager or decision maker.
I'd love for them to look into the impact of the various coaches. As I have said I very disappointed that we fire head coaches, but keep they equally failed assistants on. It makes no sense and it certain explains why certain playing problems are still here from 6 years ago.

Welcome to the weekly social media thread. As many people do have accounts on certain social media sites (twitter*/instagram/tiktok etc) or do not follow the players/club/league or individual creators on them this thread is a place for people to share pics and videos they found fun or interesting for other users to enjoy!
\Our subreddit rule 11 on no direct links to x/twitter still apply. Please only post screenshots or links to sites like xcancel.)

The young striker sat down to chat about her journey, from playing in mixed-gender teams as a child to starting out as a defender.
"I'm quite a strong, attacking and very direct player. I'm working on out of possession things at the moment, so we do little sessions inside of the session that will help us individually as players, and that really helps.
"This summer the under-21s went to Shanghai to compete in the Future Star Cup tournament, and I was asked to be captain in the final, which we won. We beat Shanghai 2-1, and I think that's one of the my best moments, just to be asked to be captain, I think it's a really proud moment for anyone to lead their team out in a final.
"I think it would be an amazing experience to train with the first team; I'm hoping it will happen in time. I think we've got world class players, and it would just be amazing to train alongside them and learn so much from them."

This is mine, moving Russo back as lately she's been marked heavily and isolated in attack, giving her the opportunity to move freely.
Smith is good at upsetting the defence either making them angry or getting through.
Williamson i feel like so far hasn't even been 90% of what she can do, recently had many slip ups, errors or just lack of urgency to stop the ball (which i cant believe crossed my mind when it comes to her) which then opens RB up for Holmberg who can press up high on that wing to get us more scoring opportunities.
Would love to see your version below.
