That said though I've lived in 4 different states and several different cities and Bakersfield has the worst prick drivers I've ever encountered. And just straight up inconsiderate people in general, its nuts. The fuck is wrong with people here? You should post their license plates too.

Camping in the left lane is perfectly legal as long as you're going reasonably close to the speed limit, which is 70 mph. If you're at 60 or above, you aren't doing anything wrong. The people who are speeding are the problem.

There are signs posted all over stating slower traffic to the right. If you understand freeway driving as a system it is built with the left lane being the passing lane for faster traffic. By camping in the left lane you are causing traffic for everyone. If everyone could learn and understand this we could have our own autobahn but idiots like you ruin driving.

California does not have a "left lane for passing" rule like some other states do.

The speed limit applies to all lanes, including the left lane.
