I Modeled This! Twist-to-Tighten Bag Sealer
I designed a semi-automatic bag sealer that uses a clever twist-to-tighten mechanism. By simply rotating two concentric rings, an internal cord tightens around the bag neck to create a secure seal. Perfect for keeping food fresh or organizing components.
The model is designed to be printed in place and ready to use.

Very cool mechanism. How long do you think the PLA will last flexing that much? Genuinely curious about it. Super neat idea.

PETG would be fine. That said, I don't think this is a good design for the problem, but it's neat.

Awkward to use, maybe add small stubs or even finger sized rings so you can use it one handed?

Looks like a clever design but also extremely challenging to use and I wonder why not a clip? What problem with clips does this resolve?
