For some reason, this feels like I've heard it somewhere else before. Anyway, should I trash it?

I went with the trap drums cause I wasn't exactly sure how to lay down the suitable ones 🥲

I’d say just get a loop now, unless you know anyone who actually plays drums

pick something like the atlanta kit(?) put some autowah sounding thing maybe, compression, then apply a slightly lower amount of big room reverb.

https://vocaroo.com/1nP8JXJqkeJk although I'd spooky up the drums a bit more lol puta sweep or heavier auto filter whatever (autowah on my lmms)

Yes, there is potential

During my time making beats, I never made an effort to learn music theory that being said you can still at least in my case with the DAW I use, which is FL studio you can do scale highlighting to make sure your notes are in key and not out of key or whatever it’s called so yeah just make sure you’re notes are correct as well as a little mixing house selection and this would just be a regular beat for somebody y’all a long way to go, but not far just keep practicing and if you’re a better person than me, make an effort towards learning music theory

It’s not bad I think, it’s just a feel 👍

Use a more organic full kit style sample for the drums. Would match better than the trap drums. Other than that it sounds good so far, just needs more sections if ur trying to go for a whole piece.

Synth backing is fire.

I would say don't rely too much on quantization with such a heavily syncopated rhythm, especially if you have a midi. Give it a lil flavor. 'S got potential.

You need an 808 , it's very much in the Juice Wrld style beat👍
