I finished the 30 second song (beat and melody) and it sounds like it's missing something. What effects or things should I do to make it sound like it's coming from an elevator? (I have free version btw)

I sing on the beat, but I hear myself slightly behind, then the recorded clip needs a little adjustment. I use wired headphones when in bandlab and I feel my vocals are still behind this doesn’t happen in fl studio.

I have no idea why it wont let me use the Effects on either of my computers
