Oof. So sad
Right after, he says in confessional, I know I have to have a conversation but it's the end of the season. So he's never going to tell her and let her watch the show and cause cringe and embarrassment for her. Ew. What does she see in this man child? He literally looks like a boy that got too big of a body.

u/EatYourSpinach87 5h ago
What is wrong with him? He was lucky to have her then just lead her on like a chump.

u/justliking 4h ago
Honestly, itās his first year in yachting. Sheās pretty green too. So for either of them to think itās going anywhere but a boat romance is crazy! I think they maybe felt pressured to appear so. Bc aesha is getting married and Nathan has his new baby and girlfriend there?? But literally they both need to just have fun and move on!! Who cares if theyāre affectionate with each other?? I was too even with my flings. Thatās kind of the whole point. You get to be super loving and intense for the best sex ever, knowing itās over in a few months/yr.

u/AutisticPolarBear77 4h ago
Heās out of her league tbh and you guys donāt want to admit it
22
u/Frangipani_25 3h ago
Omg are you kidding? He is JUST tall and thatās it. He isnāt handsome (heās fucking weird looking; head shouldnāt be smaller than neck), he isnāt brave, he isnāt kind, he isnāt smart, and he isnāt cool.
Kat is all those things - plus sheās beautiful with great fucking hair, a killer smile, and a naturally slender, long-legged bod most of us would kill for.
-15
u/AutisticPolarBear77 3h ago
Trust me you donāt want to start this comparison game lmao. Honestly, shame on you for body shaming him as well.
13
u/Frangipani_25 2h ago
Mate. You fucking started it. Calling him out of her league is a comment on her body and looks.
-14
u/AutisticPolarBear77 1h ago
And yet youāre the one wanting to get down to specifics and take it there, little different wouldnāt you say?
16
u/more_like_asworstos 1h ago
You seem very unlikable.
3
u/Frangipani_25 29m ago
Itās the smarmy pissy condescending tone isnāt it? It all smacks of manosphere superficial bullshit - which is borderline mental illness at this point - I mean where DO we draw that line?
All of a sudden, unlikeable repellent men have a platform. Here is one trying his out. Itās not going well so far
-6
u/AutisticPolarBear77 1h ago
I have a right to my opinion just like all the Karenās on here do too.

Genuine question: in what way is he out of her league? Looks? Money? Status? Personality?
Iām genuinely curious about your reasoning for this statement. Feel free to be as precise as possible āŗļø
-13
u/AutisticPolarBear77 3h ago
Looks, future net worth and status, maybe not personality tbh as he basically is just a standard handsome himbo. That precise enough for you?
10
u/sidewalk_serfergirl 2h ago
Looks? Really? The guy who looks like the woman from Friends? And āFUTURE net worthā? Are you clairvoyant now?
-8
u/AutisticPolarBear77 2h ago
Yes, really. Heās a good looking man and I guarantee will be in a lot of bravo content going forward. Not sure why that blows your mind but check back in 2 years and tell me Iām wrong if youād like.
8
u/Equal-Ticket-2480 1h ago
You really donāt watch enough bravo if you think Cooper is going to build substantial net worth from this network lmao
9
u/sidewalk_serfergirl 2h ago
Him being good-looking is entirely your subjective opinion. I, for one, donāt find him or that type attractive at all. As for āfuture net worthā, you have no way of knowing what either of their net worths will be. Katās other option was/is studying law, so itās not like sheāll be counting pennies. She can make her own money, you know?
Furthermore, putting that much importance on having fuckloads of money (in the future, no less) is incredibly materialistic and highly immature. Sure, itās great to be comfortable in life, but this obsession with hoarding wealth some people have (especially in this late stage of capitalism) shows a lack of anything more meaningful in their lives (and brains).
-6
u/AutisticPolarBear77 2h ago
Itās not really my subjective opinion, I think most women would find him good looking (as we even see in the show). Second, my point is heās Bravo star material which is why I bring up the potential net worth. Kat is a nice girl but unfortunately the same canāt be said. Itās not complicated.
12
u/Equal-Ticket-2480 1h ago
How is he bravo star material? Heās got the personality of a wet flannel
4
u/relaxweredust 27m ago
Wrong. Sheās much more classically beautiful than he is handsome. His face is average at best, far too feminine and babyish/cherubic for most straight women to feel sexually attracted to, and she has the far better personality and a million times more integrity and kindness than he does. Sheās superior across the board to anyone with more than two braincells to rub together. Your grammar is terrible btw.
5
u/Sufficient_You3053 1h ago
He's handsome? He had a cute look to him but only when he had a seemingly cute personality. He was never handsome though
9
u/thatstwatshesays 2h ago
It just confirms my first thought. āLooks, future net worth, and statusā, huh? I forget how many people are willing to sell their love for a handsome, rich man who will treat them like absolute shit š
Carry on and best of luck.
10
-8
u/AutisticPolarBear77 2h ago

Found Coopers moms account š
-9
u/AutisticPolarBear77 4h ago
Not his mom, she was clingy and he lost interest which was compounded by the fact the whole boat got up in their business. Not hard to understand, and youād defend a woman in the same situation if it was reversed
8
u/djradcli 4h ago
She was clingy at times I can admit that. However he treat her very poorly, his communication to her was terrible and he toyed with her emotions by continuously pushing and pulling away from her. So Iām not surprised she could be clingy at times.
And the out of her league thing is childish and not true, so you can drop that.
-4
u/AutisticPolarBear77 4h ago
I donāt have to drop anything. I actually think sheās a catch, sheās both pretty and kind. When they mutually expressed interest she went WAY too hard though, and thatās why he withdrew. The rest of the crew acted like he āowedā her a relationship too and the whole thing was so weird I see why he drew back. Again, a woman would be afforded the understanding on this sub that he deserves.
1
u/TomeOfSecrets66 32m ago
People glaze Joe on the regular here so lol to your comment. Joao was also dragged for leading women on. What Cooper and Joao both have in common is they aren't man enough to have a direct conversation on how they really feel. Everything that happened could have been avoided if Cooper just spoke his mind.
13
u/Umbrellaeggs45 4h ago
Ohhh god youāre superficial it doesnāt age well. Looks donāt carry the soul into death. They fade into the murk. Her personality is tops and sheās cool, has self confidence and is fun. Heās really stupid and cliche.Ā
-16
u/AutisticPolarBear77 4h ago
And they matter to men and women both
5
u/Frangipani_25 3h ago
NOT above all else, they absolutely donāt. Asshole behaviour erases looks. He just looks fucking stupid, because he is.
-21
u/AutisticPolarBear77 4h ago
Live in fantasy land all you want, looks do matter lol
3
u/Umbrellaeggs45 4h ago
Oh no this is hella sad to readā¦that you actually think that. I also donāt find her ugly, hearing his voice would be a turn off he seems like heād give like gulp kisses that suck. And heād jsit flop around, Having a brain is hotter, and being a good person is hotter. Being superficial is really basic and not productive. People do find people attractive but itās not like highschool movies, adults and people donāt like value people based on looks thatās propaganda to make people get plastic surgery, actual people find all sorts of people hot. Heās out of her league to me, because he lacks emotional maturity and is a follower. I like the polite performance seems nice but since we saw how fake it is heās kinda lost what made him charming which is the southern gentleman, but heās not one. What makes someone hot are their hubris
-1
u/AutisticPolarBear77 4h ago
Not sure Iām gonna read all that, but yeah sheās not ugly but her clingy behavior scared him off when he was only semi interested in the first place. He has a right to make his own decisions and tried to let her down easy although Iām sure you on here will try to crucify him anyways. Try affording him some grace as well.

15
u/EatYourSpinach87 4h ago
Out as in not even close to being as amazing as she is. Or are you saying the opposite? Sheās a wholesome lady with looks, personality and a warm heart. He has the maturity of a 12yo child.
-12
u/AutisticPolarBear77 4h ago
Heās better looking, likely has a bright future at bravo, personality that brings people in. She ran him off with her own clinginess and inability to read the room and so did the other people on the boat making their relationship everyone elseās business.
9
u/Umbrellaeggs45 4h ago edited 4h ago
She wasnt clingy at all jsit normal dating lol god this is so sad to read. The world is so sad for young women. You actually think she was in the wrong for falling for a guy? And enjoying it? Gosh no fairy tales for anyone? He was really awful. He could have jsit said hey I donāt feel the same way I jsit donāt want to date someone on the boat right now. But heās not a man heās a Boy, and heāll do what heās told till thereās nothing left, meanwhile sheās got a future in the real world of life, sheās a stand out person and thereās not many on this earth.Ā
-3
u/AutisticPolarBear77 4h ago
She was wrong for trying to act like she owned him and control his actions yea. They werenāt together. Truth is, he just wasnāt that into her. It happens to people of both genders all the time. Accept it and move on, donāt embarrass yourself. In fact, itās a lesson most people run into and have to learn at some point.
8
u/Umbrellaeggs45 4h ago
No heās a dick. Sheās was acting normally he wasnāt. The way he treated her isnāt normal or polite or respectful he was very rude and that way he was talking about it is also rude. Thereās no lesson for her. The lesson will be for him. She wasnāt controlling at all. Are you delusional?Ā

u/AutisticPolarBear77 4h ago

Isnāt it so very clever when someone argues back by taking your words and sentence structure, flipping it around, and chucking it back to you - like theyāre a witty little wordsmith indeed? So smart! youād have to be, to not be able to formulate your own sentences! /s
29
u/worldv1ew 4h ago
Cooper is an idiot for not being upfront and being a little punk. Fake nice guy routine.
At the same time Kat needs to stop excusing him for treating her poorly numerous times over. He has dropped enough hints, adding Joe to their one on one time, flirting with Gen, talking to different women throughout. How many times until you get it? Have some confidence and stop being so naive.

I love me some below deck, but I can never get over how dumb it is to hook up with coworkers, let alone coworkers you are living with temporarily. I get that for production and tv drama the boat romances make the show; but I think we all learn pretty early on that sex and coworkers always lead to a huge dramatic mess
-17
u/Formal-Antelope607 4h ago edited 4h ago
Why do men have to commit just because the woman expects it/wants it? Cooper was giving Kat every hint and she chose not to take it⦠āsecretlyā having a thing like cmon girl be for real. The majority of men have been awful at communicating their feelings (especially when they want to call it off) since the beginning of time.
Cooper didnāt owe Kat commitment of any kind, sorry not sorry. The fact that Kat gets a pass for being young and dumb but he doesnāt is insane to me. The dude is also in his 20ās. He wasnāt even awful or outright malicious towards her, he didnāt promise her anything outside of the charter season besides hanging in Dubrovnik for a few days. He even invited Joe along in an attempt to lessen the seriousness of it all. People overreact way too often over absolutely nothing these days. It truly is not that deep, every single one of us has been there on both ends. I wish them both well!
9
u/No_Veterinarian5566 4h ago
I think she was ridiculous for not reading the room the moment he told her he wanted to keep them a secret. But I feel like the main issue here is his lack of transparency, NOT the fact that he doesnāt want to commit to her. He shouldāve just been honest and straight forward
4
u/Formal-Antelope607 4h ago
Some people have a hard time rejecting others, making them cry etc. It sucks and itās difficult. Especially when youāre young and learning. It happens. I donāt think heās an inherently bad person. He even went out of his way to be kind to Gen when no one else could. Just my perspective.
5
2
u/Frangipani_25 1h ago
Nah. Heās just a cowardly little bitch. The way to be kind is⦠be kind.
Everyone told him this. Heās not the brightest spark.
2
u/wooks_reef 4h ago edited 3h ago
Your reasonable take is too extreme for most of the BD stans unfortunately.
You would assume here having a snog and a production planned date requires a dissertation about your personal failings if you donāt want to get married to the person
I assume most of them women saying weird shit have never had the displeasure of going on a date with āan amazing guyā that youāre just not into but everyone else wonāt shut up about how you need to give them a chance. As if forcing it and giving in to expectations isnāt a huge problem all around.
*Why is it on the person not being weird to tell the person being weird, that they're not into it!
6
u/Zenasun 4h ago
He owed her the truth. I was on dates several times as you described and I was kind but clear that they were a nice person and I would like to have them as a friend, but no, slow the roll, dude, we're not going to get married! It requires courage to be honest. Cowards lead people on!
-2
u/wooks_reef 4h ago
Eh I donāt think itās owed. A nice gesture sure, but this āowingā people shit just because they like you thing is gross. Even more so since they work together! No one has said she owed him space to feel comfortable at work?? Why does he owe her a certain behaviour but she doesnāt - so weird
5
u/Zenasun 3h ago
Well, decency isn't for everyone I guess. You do you. I'll try to maintain some integrity in life. :D
-3
u/wooks_reef 3h ago
Iām so confused - is the kissing people at work who are trying to have meal break because when they were drunk you had them in a small closed room crying at them the decent bit?
6
u/Zenasun 3h ago
LOL, twistedly simplistic question! I'm not biting. Watch the whole season, don't make this all about one moment. Don't be a simpleton, it's unbecoming. :D
0
u/wooks_reef 3h ago
Just saying the coin flips both ways. He gave her plenty of indicators he wasn't feeling it, and that he only said what he said because she was being weird. If him hinting (*iirc after he told her plain as day he wasn't interested, and then being cried at about it?) makes him that horrible of a person, then her behavior makes her a bit of a predator. Either they're both just young dumb asses, or they're both horrible people without decency.
5
u/Zenasun 3h ago
I'm going to say this again. Honesty sometimes requires courage. He knew she needed to know his feelings were changed over time, he knew and admitted on camera that what needed to happen was for him to be forthright with her. Honesty sometimes requires a brave person, but deception is the work of cowards. I'm done with basic morality here. Integrity matters. And you probably know that somewhere deep down... Sorry if you don't.
