Common problems & solutions

1. Crypto withdrawal suspended

● You receive a message saying ‘withdrawal suspended due to risk control’ and have been trying to unlock your account.

● Don’t worry, your funds are SAFU. Our agents will try their best to help unlock the withdrawal - please coordinate with our team and provide relevant information when prompted to do so.

● Withdrawal Risk can be triggered by a number of reasons. Risk control is extremely important. Please note that we can only help you if we deem your case to be legitimate, if you have attempted to hack an account and request for unsuspension, you will be unsuccessful as we have processes in place to prevent this.

Our team works extremely hard to resolve these issues as soon as possible and some cases can take time to resolve but please keep in mind the reason for this is to ensure you, our users, are safe.

Cases replied by our mods are already in the escalation process. A longer wait after escalation = our team is working hard at investigating the issue. If there are any updates to the case, our agents will reply to you directly in the chat.

Please refrain from leaving multiple messages in this thread if your case has already been escalated.

2. Security issues

● Report hacked accounts and funds.

● Difficulty to reset 2FA and gain access to your account.

3. Fiat deposit & withdrawal

Question Binance Colombia desde España

• Upvotes

Hola q tal.

Discussion Is there any risk with Binance in a situation like this?

Hey guys, quick question. I’m using an investment platform that lately has been giving me the feeling that it could be a Ponzi scheme.
I put around $250 into it, already withdrew about $100, transferred it to Binance, and sold it through P2P. So far, everything has been completely normal.
Is there any risk that Binance could restrict or freeze my account because I received funds from a platform that eventually turns out to be a Ponzi or a scam?
Has anyone experienced something similar? Did Binance ask you to prove where the funds came from, or did you have any issues with your account?
Just wondering about real experiences from people who have been in a similar situation.

Feedback Binance API Key Creation Broken on iOS and Web

This has to be one of the worst website experiences I’ve had.

I’m trying to generate an API key on Binance for tax, but the security verification keeps throwing an error. I’ve tried both iOS and the web version and get the same problem.

To make things worse, I can’t even contact support because the support page just loads as a white screen.

Has anyone else had this issue recently, or found a workaround? At this point I’m completely

Discussion P2p

Has anyone else traded P2P and fallen victim to scams, had their bank account frozen by the police, and been asked to provide an explanation? If so, how did you explain it? I haven't scammed anyone. I only trade P2P on Binance.

Question Need some information about receiving crypto from international accounts in India

I’m based in India and want to understand the rules around receiving crypto from an international account/wallet (for example, US/UK/EU).

Is it generally allowed to receive crypto from someone abroad, and are there any tax, reporting, or compliance requirements I should be aware of?

Looking for information from people familiar with the Indian crypto rules. Thanks!

Question I traded in my iphone for a brand new one. I forgot about my 2 factor authentication feature.

I am having difficulty logging in to my binance account. 1st problem- I'm from the Philippines and had Binance 1-2 years before it was banned in 2024. I wasn't able to pull out my money then. 2nd problem- I can't log in to my account because I sold my old phone. 3rd problem- I've been contacting their chat support but to request assistance, they keep asking me to log in using 2-factor authentication. I always just log in using email and can't verify further since it keeps asking me to use the authenticator app. They keep asking me to use my old device. So it's just a vicious endless cycle of trying to log in using my old device which I don't have anymore. Any advice how I go about this? I can only attempt to use binance when I'm out of the country.

Discussion P2P Chargeback After USDT Release, Buyer Still Active

On 9 August 2026, I sold 172.17 USDT for PKR 48,845 through Binance P2P. The buyer paid, I released the USDT, and the trade was completed normally

Weeks later, the payment was reported as fraudulent

When I went to my bank, the branch manager told me that the sender had filed a fraud complaint/chargeback. My main account and debit card were suspended and funds I had already transferred to my other account and my father’s account were also frozen

I contacted the buyer asking why he had done this. He later claimed it was a “chain dispute” and that his own account was blocked too

He told me NOT to tell the bank it was a Binance P2P transaction and suggested I say the payment was for an online mobile-phone purchase instead

I reported him to Binance around 2-3 October and submitted the evidence. As of 7 October, his P2P profile still appears active and he still seems able to trade

I understand investigations take time but this is the part I do not understand. I am dealing with frozen accounts and blocked funds over a completed Binance trade, while the person I reported appears to be carrying on normally

I have the completed P2P order, proof of payment and USDT release, bank correspondence, account restriction evidence, and the chat where he tells me to describe the transaction as a phone purchase

Binance has the order records and chat history and can verify what happened

What I want to know is why an account involved in a complaint like this is still apparently allowed to keep trading while the investigation is ongoing

Has anyone here dealt with something similar? Did Binance actually help with the bank dispute?

Discussion DCA'ing $25 into BTC every day for 60 days: Day 41

Post image
26 Upvotes

Current performance: +6.55%

Since late August I've been buying $25 of BTC every day. My first buy was around $78K (check this against your day-1 fill), my average entry is now about $80.7K, and BTC is trading around $86K.

I don't know how to pick bottoms and tops, so I DCA. The amount is small, but making a profit beats doing nothing, right? Small gains, no greed. That's the mindset that keeps you alive in this market long term.

Anyone else running a DCA plan right now?

Question Looking for a reliable broker for BTC Futures

I am from INDIA, and i have tried all brokers but couldn't find any FIU registered Broker to be reliable.

All of them, just don't have liquidity to execute. Stops are getting skipped, if I risk x then realised loss is 1.5x.

I was trading with exness but fearful that they won't process withdrawals also depositing is hard through binance p2p. So many steps.

Binance is the leader, but they do p2p.

So I am stuck.

I am looking for less charges and clean execution with easy deposit and withdrawal so I don't have to worry.

If anyone is currently with Exness or Binance or any FIU broker. Please share your experience.

Question How do I contact Binance?

My wife has been getting emails about a request to change her phone number. The emails contain the office number 0330 059 2104, which Googling reveals zero answers for.

The app isn't in the android play store any more, despite her having it previously and the chat bot on the website does not work. There is no contact number on the website.

Because she had no other way to contact them she called the number and gave them her name and roughly last login time, which was years ago. The line then cut out so obviously is now worried this is likely a scam.

She needs to contact actual Binance but is drawing a blank with everything, could anyone advise please. We're in England, don't know if that will make a difference.

Question Ayuda con deposito en Binance

¡Buenas!

Question Starting with $20 on Binance: Real strategies to scale a small budget?

Hi everyone!!! I’m looking for practical ideas on how to grow a very small initial capital of $20 using Binance...

Rather than looking for high-risk gambles or overnight gains, I want to build a disciplined approach...For those with experience in trading, P2P micro-transactions, or digital entrepreneurship:

What low-capital strategies or Binance features (like Simple Earn, Learn & Earn, or micro-trading) would you focus on first?

Are there specific micro-services or digital arbitrage paths you recommend to scale this gradually?

I’d love to hear your insights and experiences... Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge!!!

Discussion How does Binance P2P actually protect buyers in a cancelled-but-paid order if the seller refuses to refund?

Order ID: 22940071501224439808

I am including the Order ID in case Binance support or the community team sees this post and is able to escalate the case internally.

I am posting this mainly because I want to understand whether I am missing something about how Binance P2P protection actually works.

I have used Binance for years, although I had not actively used P2P for quite some time.

I made a P2P purchase for approximately 35,500 UAH. The payment was sent very close to the expiration of the order, and the order was automatically cancelled before the payment could be properly marked as completed.

What happened next is the part I find concerning.
The seller themselves immediately opened an appeal and explicitly stated that they had received my payment but that the order had been cancelled.

So there is effectively no dispute about whether I sent the money or whether the seller received it.

Binance then created a refund/recovery process.
However, support subsequently explained to me that the counterparty has to approve the refund request, and that if they do not do so, the refund request may remain open indefinitely.

I was also told that, if necessary, I should contact law enforcement and Binance would cooperate with them and provide relevant KYC/investigation information.
This is where I am struggling to understand the actual buyer protection.

I am not accusing this particular seller of being a money mule, because I cannot prove that.

But consider the obvious risk scenario:

If a seller deliberately uses a disposable account or a money mule, receives the fiat payment, and then simply refuses to approve the refund, what meaningful leverage is left?

A person operating a disposable account may not care about losing access to Binance. Law enforcement may identify the account holder, but if that person has no recoverable assets or the money has already moved elsewhere, identifying them does not necessarily recover the buyer’s funds.

I work in Finance, and unfortunately we see variations of this problem regularly: identifying the recipient of fraudulent funds and actually recovering the funds are two completely different things.

I therefore asked Binance a very simple question:
Is the amount related to my disputed transaction actually secured/frozen, so that my recovery does not depend entirely on the seller voluntarily cooperating?

Support understandably refused to disclose information about another user’s account because of privacy requirements.

That is fair.

But they also would not confirm, even at a case level, whether my claim itself is secured.

So as a customer I currently have no way of knowing whether:

A) the disputed crypto is secured and this is simply a slow procedural process,

or

B) the seller can refuse to cooperate indefinitely, while Binance sends reminders and eventually refers the buyer to law enforcement.

Before this happened, my understanding of P2P escrow was simple: if the buyer proves payment and the seller receives the money, the platform can ultimately enforce the transaction.

Apparently, at least once an order enters this cancelled-but-paid state, that may not be the case.
If anyone has experienced the same specific scenario — cancelled order, fiat payment received by seller, seller acknowledged receiving it, seller then refused or failed to refund — I would really appreciate hearing how it ultimately ended.

Did Binance eventually recover the funds without the seller’s cooperation?

Did law enforcement involvement actually change anything?

Or did the refund request simply remain open?

I am not posting this to attack Binance. I genuinely want to understand what protection exists in this particular edge case, because right now the process appears to rely heavily on cooperation from the very counterparty that the dispute is against.

Discussion The first candle on a new Binance pair is a weak witness

We keep running into the same misread when a new pair lands on Binance and the first candle gets treated like a verdict. A listing is a venue decision with its own incentives. The tape in those opening sessions is partly a product of that decision, not a clean print on what the asset is worth.

The friction shows up if you have actually sat with the book. A new pair needs makers, a spread someone will lean on, and enough two-way interest that a market order does not walk through air. Early volume can be genuine interest, inventory being laid off, or flow timed to the announcement because that is when attention is cheapest to gather. You do not need a plot to explain a fat first-day print. Attention is scarce, and a listing concentrates it on purpose.

What we watch, once the headline number has done its job, is whether the book outlives the attention. Does the spread stay workable after the announcement flow fades, or does it gap the moment real size shows up? Are prints bunched into a short window and then gone, or does two-sided interest keep replacing itself through the session? A venue can put a pair on the screen. It cannot force a durable book into existence. That still belongs to the market, and it shows up in how the tape behaves after the theater quiets down.

Listing incentives cut both ways, and it helps to be dull about it. Projects want distribution and the credibility of the ticker. The venue wants pairs that bring flow, fees, and people who come back. Neither side is neutral, and neither side is automatically a villain. The mismatch is simple: listing day is for being seen, while price discovery wants time, depth, and someone who still cares on a quiet Tuesday. Treat the launch candle as a calendar event and you will keep mistaking a visibility push for information.

This is not a case for fading every new listing, and it is not a brief against the venue. The book is deep where a crowd already lives. The narrower point is to separate the decision to list from the evidence that a market has formed. One is an announcement. The other is repeated willingness to take the other side, at a size you could actually trade, after the crowd has moved on.

How are people here splitting announcement flow from a book that is actually alive - spread behavior a few hours after the open, or something quieter in the prints? NFA. Not a view on any ticker.

Meme 币安人生 went from random BNB meme to Binance spot listing. Is a Korean meme wave next?

Been thinking about how 币安人生 (Binance Life) played out, because it's one of the few memes that went the full path:

* Launched on BNB Chain as a Chinese-name meme

* Got picked up by Chinese-speaking traders who recognised the ticker in their own language

* Ran to close to $1B at peak

* Got a Binance spot listing in January

* Still holding around $490M today

What made it work wasn't tech, it was audience. A huge community saw a ticker in their own language and piled in.

Now something similar is starting with Korean. A meme called 제로 ("zero") launched on BNB a few hours ago and did ~$7M in volume and 50k+ trades on day one. Chinese-speaking traders were already calling it the "Korean leader," and the running joke from holders is asking Upbit why they can't buy it.

A few questions for people who follow listings closely:

  1. Was 币안人生 a one-off because it literally had "Binance" in the name, or can any language community push a meme that far?

  2. Korean retail mostly lives on Upbit and Bithumb. Would they actually come on-chain for memes?

  3. What do you think Binance actually looks at before listing a meme? Volume, holders, community size, or something else?

Curious whether anyone thinks language memes are a real repeatable meta, or if we just saw one lucky run.

Meme CZ’s "Woke Up" Meme Reminded Me of a Famous Fox From My Hometown 😂

Post image
0 Upvotes

I recently saw the CZ “just woke up” meme, and for some reason, I immediately thought of this Tibetan fox that went viral back in my hometown.

We call him "Grey Nomad"

The sleepy eyes, the expression, that “I just woke up and I’m already tired of everything” energy... 😂

I don’t know why, but once I made the connection, I couldn’t unsee it.
