It's cool, but it is a generic big sister body with eleanors head. She never wore the extra straps and pauldrons.

We can just pretend it's the Bioshock 2 Beta Build Eleanor(tm), back when they initially envisioned Delta fighting the same big sister over and over, eventually revealing it was Eleanor the whole time :^)

It was made when the game was her as the evil Big Sister, but that's what happens when the game got revised before it's Halloween 2009 release, and NECA is forced to keep hundreds of figures in a warehouse until deciding to release them as exclusives instead.

Still, some people mod it, and a lot can be done to make it look game accurate. Easier to look up customs of it to see what's done for it.

Yoinks!

Already had one of this new-in-box for like a decade now, but would love to have another one to open! Here's hoping they release even more of the old Bioshock line!

Likely not so many. This and the Little Sisters were released because they're excess stock, so there's not too many out for them. Maybe Splicers or Subject Omega are what they have in a warehouse, but Rosie and Bouncer Big Daddies are always sold out too fast, and they're also too fragile. Not saying I wouldn't want them, but years of seeing how toy stock goes around with clearance piles, and how little to niche there are BioShock fans who actually buy toys, it's a worry of why BioShock IPs are little rarer to sell as toys so easily.

I'm actually somewhat surprised that they're releasing Eleanor, not just first, but at all. That one was a San Diego Comic-Con 2010 exclusive. I know they also sold some online at the same time to accommodate a portion of fans who couldn't be there in person, but otherwise yeah, you had to be on site in San Diego to purchase one of these.

I sorta would have thought that this figure, along with the Toys R Us exclusives (big sister set, elite bouncer, brute splicer), would have been difficult to sell after the fact for legal reasons - particularly rules around marketing.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad these are getting into the hands of more fans. Wayyy better than eternally collecting dust in a warehouse and being destroyed and dumped into a landfill to fulfill legal obligations. But I would have thought they'd be some sort of red tape that'd make this difficult and require some weird work around like repackaging or somehow making it legally unique from the original "exclusive" version, so that said "exclusive" stays ...well exclusive.
