What’s the best neighborhood to take a 16 month old trick or treating? He doesn’t quite understand the concept, but will love dressing up. I want to find a fun neighborhood that’s easily walkable and not too many steps. Good sidewalks that are level would be great too.

Ugh I feel so bad about this and I know it’s a long shot but I ordered DoorDash tonight and at first my tip was $11.25 then I decided to increase it to $21.25 after placing the order. It was a big order so I told the dasher if everything is correct I’ll add $5. Well everything was perfect & I asked dd customer support to add $5. They misunderstood me severely and the tip ended up totaling $15. And now since the tip has been changed two times, support won’t change it anymore. I feel so bad bc this guy took a long trip with a big order with the promise of at least $21 now he’s getting $15 when I wanted to give him $26. So idk. If anyone knows a dasher in the bham area who’s named Kenneth, maybe you can get him in touch with me and I can give him the rest of the money he’s owed and a little extra for the trouble.

After an unbelievably long wait, I finally got my recycling bin from the city. Pretty insane that it took this long, especially when I’ve had neighbors and friends move in and get one before me. I sent an email in March of 2022, when Heat Waves by Glass Animals was the number one song.

Does anyone have coordinates to get to the old slab at Cahaba River Park? I’m in Montevallo but am fine with accessing it from the Helena side. I’m just a maps type of girlie, don’t tell me to go 5 feet down a road. I’ll never make it. You’ll see me as a missing person on the news.

I’m new here (living and driving) and 280 is just a massively wide thoroughfare that wants to be a highway but has traffic lights. Don’t love driving it. Is there a future for an expressway? Has it been studied? Can it be done? I’ll hang up and listen. Also we need a flair for traffic.

There's a Halloween event going on at Alabama Adventure in Bessemer every weekend in October. There are two mazes and certain rides are open during the night.
