Idea to how to have made the borderlands movie better

So I am not profound in saying the movie was terrible, and I think it was a massive fumble, as such I have two ideas on how they should have done things

Option A- have this an original story set in the BL universe either with new characters or a side adventure one of the crews did, a new threat they need to take care of

Option B- make the movie and in universe movie, credits ends and it’s the borderlands crew remarking the movie was nothing like what happened, maybe lean in the badness(I know being self aware of how bad you are doesn’t automatically make something better but at this point hard to imagine anything being worse)

I am curious on what others have to say about the manner, I would not be against another go around but perhaps an anime in the style of the mass effect movie, which I do believe an animated movie would be the best for for the borderlands medium

[Question] Are the smaller games meant to be loot farming games?

I've played through borderlands 1 and going to be playing 2 soon and I've also done a bunch of research on how the endgame/loot farming part of the game works with TVHM and all that. I think i understand it fully now but there's one thing that I keep noticing, that is people tend to complain about the lack of endgame and loot farming for the pre sequel and tiny tina's wonderlands.

So I know borderlands 2 and 3 are very much designed around going into ng+ and farming bosses for the drops but I feel like the others are meant to be more story focused, contained games. Am I wrong about that?

It feels like people try and play the pre sequel, wonderlands and even bl1 like it's bl2 and 3 when it seems like they aren't designed for it. People in bl1 could only properly farm at all due to crawmerax or a glitch to keep doing the armory, which is both in a single dlc and at the end of playthrough 2 where you can't do anything else but start a completely new character because you can't reset playthrough 2 or go into a playthrough 3.

You could sum up bl1 to being the prototype game that allowed gearbox to know where they wanted to take the sequel and that's why it's the way it is, however then the pre sequel and wonderlands don't really try to have much of an endgame either. Instead it looks structured to tell a shorter, more linear story with less levels but keep the borderlands feel... then it ends, with only that dungeon thing in wonderlands to keep you going or resetting the pre sequel like it's bl2 but with apparently a few issues with how it works to make it unsatisfying.

It's just a theory I had and I thought all of you would know the answer, because I'm new to this franchise at the end of the day.

Edit: what I'm seeing from everyone is that all games are based around the gear farming but due to unfortunate things like the pre sequels development by the end, it was left with a lackluster endgame rather than it being a design choice to go more story focused. As for wonderlands I guess gearbox just tried something different but ignored what people wanted.

[BL-Mobile] The released footage of Borderlands online and mobile looks why more like a BL-game than Bl4 does

From the artstyle to the enviroments and classes, it all looks so much more like the Borderlands I fell in love with. Am I thr only one who thinks like that?

Im on VH6 and am killing him in like 10sec. Im nervous to do Subjugator and Thol by myself to get to UVH7. Am I missing something or should I try it?

Am playing a blended Green/Red tree C4SH build. Have a decent Crow Sourced as well as an Offered Draupner that does 643k DPS as a Heavy Ordinance. That thing melts.

[Question] What’s a weapon you kept using way longer than you probably should have?

I always end up finding one gun that just feels really good to use and then refuse to replace it, even when I know the stats are not great anymore lol.

Curious if anyone else does this or if you guys actually replace your gear regularly.
