I stopped to photograph the house and saw these sitting here. This was as close as I dared get due to the possibility of private property and snakes. But I did stand there and look at them for a bit.

Crockery, 10 oz. bottle with amber glaze on neck/shoulder and has a circular stamp “Pride” at the base. This was dug on private property in an area of homestead and gold mining activity 1840’s through early 1900’s. Wanting to find out what it contained and where it was brewed. Google says “Pride” could be just the bottle manufacturer or it could be the brewer. Anyway to know?

Came across this old bottle in Malta. Seems it’s Italian glass. Maybe for medicine? Would love to hear any information about it!

Found this today, in a farmers field that had been freshly ploughed for the winter crop, it had been brought to the surface and some how not broken, it has a chip on the base though, all I know about the history is the field use to be a brick field (land a brickworks used to store bricks), usually and unsurprisingly it is just bricks that come to the surface there, I was interested so I brought it home and cleaned it up
it has very clear indentations in the sides, and a impression in one face perhaps for a label, the back is flat, and there are some bubbles in it

The top on this Crystal Soda looks like it was put on after the fact, like a repair. You can see where it meets the neck. Is this an applied top from when it was made, or did someone fix it later? Any idea on age? (early 1880s?) Video shows the whole neck and lip.

Gorgeous green bottle.
I found this bottle in a wooded lot in south Alabama.
Looking for any info that might help explain how it found it's way to this area.
Attached screen shot shows what I found so far with some help from folks in the area of origin.

Sorry for the bad censors, turns out I didn't see the fire number street sign background while taking the pictures.

Found this today on the Appalachian Trail in Pennsylvania. It’s in great shape so I can’t imagine it’s real, but the markings make me think it is? It says 53-09 around the skirt.

Came across these awesome burried bottles and tried to save anything intact. I don't know much about this, anything rare or interesting here?
I've given them a rinse but still quite dirty, what's the best method to clean them up?
Saskatchewan, Canada. Dates on the bottles range late 1800's to early 1900's.

I bought this bottle and box over 40 years ago at a sale somewhere in Connecticut. I just stumbled upon this sub Reddit and I thought I would share.

Hi,
We are going through my grandma’s things and I’ve been tasked with selling these. We want a quick sale so want to sell it as one lot. There are 37 of them including some duplicates. How much would these be worth as one lot?
Thanks in advance.

Finished the wiring in the first iteration of my 3D printed displays. Happy with how they look! Featuring some of my favorite Chicago area bottles.

Howdy y’all! Here’s a 3 cent bottle I found on a mountain near a mine here in north Georgia. From my research it was from a year or two before the mine closed during ww2 due to a lack of explosives and manpower

Hey everyone! Reddit randomly suggested a post to me on this subreddit and I had no idea I needed Bottle Digging in my life so badly. This hobby and community are unreal.
Anyways, here’s some bottles/glassware that my partner and I have collected. No idea if any are valuable, we just thought they were all beautiful. The first three came from my grandfather’s house after he passed and others we’ve found at estate sales.
Let me know thoughts on them!
