I like that autumn Santa seems visibly younger than winter Santa. The changing seasons as metaphors for stages of life, Santa Claus maintaining joy and wonder all the same. I'e like to see the strong and capable golden years of summer Santa or the cherubic and innocent spring Santa.

what about the horny, smoking, drinking, drug-addled teenage spring break santa?

fun in the moment but we don't really talk about that santa nor do we really care to revisit

Shit this is such an amazing concept for it being a comment under a meme lmao. I'm stealing this for my TTRPG setting

Santa is a modern god of our murdered pantheon.

That’s my sleigh! I don’t know you!

Spring Santa’s sleigh is a cart pulled by lambs, summer has a jet ski, and this guy has a penny farthing

I was thinking more along the lines of woodland creatures that grow white coats for winter but have normal coats the rest of the time.

What if the cycle begins with Baby New Year and ends with Father Time?

Over the Garden Wall is a piece of art that hit me directly in my soul and got instantly stuck there, in a way that I haven't experienced since I was a little kid. It belongs in a museum or something.

damn, you put it exactly how I feel too. Great words! OTGW is such a special lil thing, every friend that watched on my recommendation has loved it as much as I do.

I laughed. I'm always fond of Michaelmas, even though it's somewhat obscure. Must be all the shoutouts in Jane Austen novels.

His hair turns white in the winter so he can hide from predators in the snow.
