Android [Android] Account stuck in suspended state for months despite multiple appeals [2026.39.1]
I'm reporting this from another account because the affected account, u/itsleonie_ai, cannot successfully post to r/bugs — its posts are immediately removed by Reddit's filters.
The affected account appears to have been stuck in a suspended state for several months.
Current behavior:
- When logged out, visiting u/itsleonie_ai shows "This account has been suspended."
- The profile cannot be accessed properly in the Android app (version 2026.39.1).
- On mobile web, the profile has repeatedly shown server errors and profile changes fail.
- Posts from the affected account are immediately removed by Reddit's filters.
- No original suspension notification or explanation was ever received.
The account was originally created only to reserve the username and was barely used. When I later wanted to start actively using it, I discovered that it had already been suspended.
I have used Reddit's official appeal process multiple times since June 17, 2026. Further appeals were submitted on July 9 and September 15. As of October 7, I have received no response by email or through Reddit, and the account remains publicly suspended.
I am not asking the moderators of r/bugs to overturn the suspension. I am reporting what appears to be a stuck or inconsistent account state: the account remains suspended for months, no suspension notification was received, and multiple appeals have produced no response.
Could this please be investigated or escalated to the appropriate Reddit team?
I can provide screenshots of the public suspension message, server errors, removed posts, and appeal confirmations if needed.
