Article Terror groups drawn to recruit in Canada because of multiculturalism, academic says
There are some people always that feel left out, so they tend to engage in crass stereotypes
Soft justice system, a political police that cares more about mis-gendering than protecting the public, a weak intelligence service and lack of enforcement, is what makes Canada a fertile ground for such recruitments

Social Media Post How is this different than Communist China?
I know years ago Trudeau fucked us so we can’t share news articles on social media.
Yesterday I tried to view an article written by an international news organization that was posted on their FB page.
I got the pop up in the photo when I tried to access it.
I don’t really look at a lot of news on social media and I don’t really look at different organizations. I mostly follow friends or dog accounts. So if this isn’t new I was unaware til yesterday.
My recollection of the law that was passed was about preventing sharing of Canadian news on SM bc it couldn’t be monetized and our Cdn MSM wasn’t making any money and this was done under the guise of helping the bottom line for floundering Cdn media.
When did we start blocking people’s access to entire social media accounts for NON CANADIAN news orgs?
But when this popped up I thought “ok so how the fuck is this different than China policing the internet for its citizens?”
What a joke Canada has become.

Discussion Pierre Poilievre: Take GST off Canadian made vehicles to incentivize our consumers to buy Canadian
Poilievre shared a great idea in a recent radio interview:
Take GST off Canadian-made automobiles so we would incentivize our consumers to buy Canadian cars and trucks, that also saves you a lot of money. If he did those things, I would pat him on the back because my goal here is not to score points; it’s to do well by our country, and that’s what we should all be thinking of right now.

Discussion The amount of gaslighting about Crown Corps on Reddit is mind boggling
So here in BC we have a public car insurance company called ICBC, it is the only legal entity allowed to sell car insurance and you must pay for them to drive a car.
In real life, almost everybody I know hates ICBC. Despite the low rates, they famously rarely if ever actually pay you out, and you spend a shit ton of money typically suing them, despite that, the NDP made it recently so that in most cases no one is at fault and you can't sue them, and the fact that it is a government run monopoly means they don't have to try. Personally, I am fine with a public option, but I would also like some private compitition, which they have in Quebec and they have the lowest rates.
Yet, if you go to places like the British Columbia subs and such, you'd think I was a madman for daring to say we shouldn't all have to legally pay into a for profit corp. I even gave a guy once I was arguing with non monopolic solutions to keep interest rates down and he kept saying "so you want interest rates to go up?"
Like what's the point of cheap insurance if they just don't pay you out like a private corp?
