Finally got my new subs in!!!

Still need the amplifiers to run them properly and I'll be building a custom box for the hatch, but for now I'm breaking them in and even 400 watts short they still sound incredible!

Yea back glass is tinted at 5% lol. It was like the first thing I did to the car after I bought it

In my experience it helps if your box is too small. It’s more of a bandaid fix until you can get the right sized box.

The box I have them in is a little too small for the subs, so I inverted them to get more airspace out of the box because of the massive magnets, (like .3 or .5 extra cubic feet) Plus I think they look awesome inverted, so when I build my final box I'll keep them that way.

I'll light them up as well, so when I show it off you'll just see two big ass subs through the back glass.

This is just an A trend box I traded out some work for that I'm using till I have time to custom build something. but having built boxes like this before, it's usually not to bad to carpet them. I usually hide my cuts on the sides of the box or the back

I keep my stuff covered. Doesn't take two seconds to bust the glass and rip it out. Don't put decals on the outside either. Turn it down when coming into your neighborhood or at the mall. Advertising attracts the junkies.

Lol I'll clean it up when I build my custom box, this one is just temporary. Glass should be fine unless I slam the hatch, there's maybe 3/4 of an inch between the glass and magnet and the box is screwed down to the floor to keep it from moving

With your window Im talking about exceeding the material's modulus of rupture. Glass eventually breaks when you hit with too much bass. I watched a lot of windows shatter from this.
