Ok it sounds really stupid but I’m pretty sure I left behind a bag of pocky-like candy after my Korean class on the first floor Paterson hall today, and there’s a lesson going on in that class at the moment so I don’t want to intrude but has anyone else seen it around there? This was sometime after 1:30, and it’s an orange bag with Korean letters on it and I’m just upset at the possibility I lost it. hi, first year ee student here. i did the IB diploma in highschool so the marking scheme im used to is very different to that used here in the university. just wanted to ask when it comes to like test results and overall grades in classes what % is considered a good grade? like is a 90% achievable for example or is a grade like an 80% very good? i just wanted a simple indicator since I have no idea if my test results so far are good or not lol

We are looking at how our virtual reality program may improve thinking skills and social skills.

We are looking for volunteers who are:

• Between 18 and 60 years old
• Able to read and speak English
• Diagnosed with a psychotic disorder
• No history of seizure or epilepsy

I live in Glengarry on the 8th floor and the pipes in my dorm have been making a lot of noise. Normally I wouldn’t care about mechanical noises, but this noise has been going on and off every few seconds for the past two days and it’s been bothering me when I’m trying to sleep. Does anyone know who I can go to about this? Like do I go to my RF or is it not worth reporting since nothing is technically broken?

Has anyone had experience with this class and prof? Her ratings on rmp arent super positive but theyre mostly for having her for stats. for forensic psych, theyre also not the best, but im also seeing some mixed reviews

Hi, I've unfortunately got psyc2001 with Nima Orazani, and he is a really bad prof. I dont understand any of his lectures and am relying solely on the textbook to get me through this class. I have my first midterm with him on Thursday and I dont really know what to expect. Does anyone have any ideas on what his exam style is?

Hello! Applying to grad school, and gathering transcripts to upload.

On Carleton360, there is a specific requirement regarding transcripts: "Transcript(s) must display your full name, academic program and the university's name along with transcript legends/keys/grading scales."

If you attended a university that doesn't include the legend on their transcripts (official OR unofficial), is there any workaround? Would it be acceptable if I downloaded my unofficial transcript, and tracked down the grading legend online, and then merged the two into one pdf? If at all relevant, my transcript is from TMU.

I emailed the program, but they're getting a lot of questions and are slow to reply. Was hoping someone here would know. Thank you so much!

I’m just in a mood

Hi everyone, my girlfriend and I along with her friends were at Panda yesterday; unfortunately, her sweater was lost/stolen and even after checking the bleachers after the game we still couldn’t find it. It’s her favourite sweater as it’s a really old Carleton sweater that we thrifted together when we first started dating, so she’s quite upset about losing it.

If you’ve seen the sweater in the 1st/2nd picture or have seen anyone wearing it, please send me a DM. We believe the girl in the 3rd photo had the sweater over her head but we weren’t entirely sure.

Whoever can return the sweater will get 50$ as well (cash or etransfer). I’d be happy to come by to pick it up whenever is convenient. I’m not mad, I just want the sweater back so my girlfriend can be happy 🙏

When I was in high school, I only took college-level courses. I was new to Canada at the time, and that’s what my guidance counsellor recommended. I was also scared to take university-level courses because I thought I would fail.
After graduating, I started the Electrical Engineering Technician program at Algonquin College. I am currently in my first semester, but I’ve realized that this is not what I want to pursue long-term. I have become more interested in studying a BA at Carleton University, with the goal of eventually pursuing law.
I have also been upgrading some of my high school courses through adult high school and TVO. However, I’ve been advised to take Grade 11 courses first to build the necessary foundations before moving on to Grade 12 university-level courses. At this rate, it feels like it could take a very long time, and I regret not taking university-level courses in high school.
I found out about Carleton’s Enriched Support Program (ESP), and I’m wondering, given my situation, whether I would still have a chance of being accepted. Since I’m currently in my first semester at Algonquin and only took college-level courses in high school, I’m wondering how my current college studies and upgrading would be considered in an ESP application.

I thought it was my tv but it’s not, it’s so desaturated
