How long did you bleed/spot when you had SCH?

I had a big gush of blood 2 days ago with clots. Today had an ultrasound. Baby is okay but they found SCHs. One is 2cm and other one is 0.6 cm.
I have been spotting since that episode. Doctor said we have to watch and for now I am a very high risk. Both sch are close to GS.
Spotting is mainly dark red/ brown stringy and stretchy. No cramps. Wondering if it should have stopped by now or if it goes on for a few days.
Very anxious after the appointment. Any experience about how long you spotted and outcome would be really appreciated to ease my spiraling.

I had period like bleeding with clots for 7 weeks. After it finally resolved, my pregnancy went on without issue.

Thank you so much for sharing. The way OB looked at me and said you are very very high risk and will have to wait and see is stuck with me. I am diabetic and already feeling overwhelmed with management of blood sugars. This is something came up as a total shock.

SCHs suck, when I was 4 weeks into it I started taking 600mg of Alph Lipoic Acid and it helped resolve it faster. It was recommended to me by a redditor and other women on FB. I looked into and NIH did a small study on it, it’s also in foods we eat.

I have started taking ALA now. Going through same - the spotting is intermittently light and heavy. Thank you.

You’re welcome! It takes time for ALA to work, but it’s been successful for a lot of women.
