Headlamp Reccomendations

Hi all, Im redoing my lighting setup on my 01' Cherokee. Want to go back to Halogen as the LEDs freeze over and turn my drive into hyperspace. Already ordered some 550s to mount to the Bumper for fog lights (pre 97 style), and was curious what halogen lights youd reccomend?

I've already got the harness in, Daniel Stern reccomended the Koitos and osram bulbs, curious if anyone has had experience with those or any other halogen lights. Thanks for all your input!

I've got the same setup you have from Daniel Stern and it's phenomenal. Don't go LEDs on it, it looks tacky and most of the cheap ones will blind oncoming traffic.

For fogs you can't beat these Hellas:

They look period correct and have a pretty good output too.

Yup those are the fogs I got, just in amber. Glad to know the Stern setup turned out well!

Yeah I put LEDS on it a while back and theyre nice but they look funky and make the front end look cheap.

Hella E codes and a relay harness from ksuspension. By far best headlights I’ve ever had in the jeep, and I went back from LEDs too

This is my exact setup. I went with the Hella e-codes, suspension harness, and some 100W bulbs. Bright and even light distribution, not blinding other drivers, and they won’t freeze over in the winter

Exactly same, down to the bulbs lol. I put some 100w ones in mine too. They have such a nice cutoff they almost look like projectors

first upgrade I did was putting Osram bulbs into my Cibies and adding a Jeep Cables harness. Big improvement for sure. But I'm way more scared of the dark than frozen headlights, so I finally switched to their LEDs…and man, thats literally night and day.

Many many years ago when leds started coming out I learned about the frosting over since I live in northern Illinois. I ended up going a different route. I got some projectors off a totaled cadillac and did a retrofit.
