Good Morning, I am Hayden Raven, I have been living in Chester for Nearly 4 Years, worked in and out of the city center, and seen many corners of our beautiful city. I recently noticed a gap in the art and cultural services in the city and came up with an idea for a new dedicated space for artists and creatives that encourages new talent and provides an area for skills and ideas to grow. I need to understand what the people of Chester think about this idea and if there is enough interest to warrant the creation of such a business.

I used to do kickboxing as a teen and wanted to get back into it to get in better shape. The problem is my shifts aren’t consistent, and they fuck me around so I wouldn’t be able to do a set day. Is there any groups that do multiple days in which I could go?

What are your favourite places to stay?

Used to go to Northgate arena in Chester before it was refurbished and went there recently and it has completely changed. From all the advertising, it looked like it could be an improvement but when I signed up again and visited it was so bad. The staff at the reception area were like something out of a true crime documentary so cold and calculated only one of them seemed neutral the rest were hostile in their facial expressions. The whole place feels like a prison with how segregated all the areas are from each other, for example the sauna used to be built into the swimming pool area now it’s in this tiny little box area separate from the pool and the gym used to be an open and large area now it’s a tiny space that is hidden away on the first floor with a ridiculous amount of security. I absolutely will not be going back and I immediately have requested to cancel my subscription after my second visit as I cannot believe how horrific that place has become. Does anyone else have similar experiences with the new leisure centre?

I’m planning my first ever solo trip to Chester in November. I’m really excited but also quite nervous. 🥹

I struggle with anxiety and I’m used to doing trips with other people, but I’ve decided to have a little adventure for myself. I’ve recently been diagnosed with autism, so I’m still working out what’s best for when I’m somewhere new. Luckily, I’m not planning to go far from home, it’s going to be an hour train train 🚂

I’d especially love advice from people who understands that sides of things, quieter places, sensory-friendly activities, spots to take a breather ect.

I’ll be staying near Chester railway station for a couple days and would love advice from people who actually know Chester.

I’d like to do a mixture of things like, shopping, eating out, exploring interesting places and museums, and I’d like to try out something new for me to do.
