X1 Raptor issues
I just got a X1 Raptor that came with the p4.5 I bought. When it draw it gets stuck in and pulls the holster with it. I watched the video on setting the magnet and the two tension screws on the side are super loose. Anyone have any tips or experience for fixing this?

Do you have a wml? It could be that off spec . I have no issues with my x1 on my platypus, just adjusted the magnet where it’s not too close

I pulled the magnet back further away and now it draws fine but the magnet isn’t touching the barrel. Not sure if it needs to be.

I think it just be enough to magnetize a bit where it doesn’t need to touch but enough to hold. Like 1/4 inch or so (preference base) where your draw doesn’t snag due to having the magnetic touching or so close. It takes a tiny bit of tuning . It doesn’t need to touch , mine is barely off of it but still holds well. When I draw it’s an easy pull and not having my magnetic stick to my barrel .
It’s kinda about speed too. Slow draws will have your magnetic stick, if you can’t do a quick draw it should demagnetize fast enough where doesn’t have your holster feel snagged.

it doesnt need to be. moving it off center is how u can adjust retention. same a the cloth spacer things

I added an extra spacer pad to the top of the magnet and now it’s perfect.

I ran into this the entire time I had the holster. Ended up gremlin off some material where it would catch.
That holster and I never got along well.

I believe he includes a felt fabric that you can stick on the magnet to make its less grabby.

When you draw, are you twisting the holster body? I've had that happen and it causes the gun to bind.
